Anyone who was watching UTD with an objective view would agree that fletcher was the missing element in the 2009 loss to Barca. He was immense in that CL campaign he covered so much ground box to box but shutting down the midfield. he couldn't have played football with the barca 3 but he would have cut down a lot of passing lanes

Pulis' Stoke team vs the one Mark Hughes had couldn't have been more different. They went from being the most English team in the league. All hard graft and toughness. To being maybe the most flair team in the league with Shaqiri, Arnautović, Bojan, Crouchy, Nzonzi, Afellay, Joselu. Of course the team with all the ability got relegated though 🤦‍♂

Best ever is a bit of a stretch when we had Matthew's and Banks back in the day. Don't get me wrong he was brilliant but there has been better over the years.

Crouch was hardly underrated as a goal scorer.He was never a very prolific goal scorer he was generally much better at setting up chances for others .
