What more can be said? The man is a master and the instrument a treasure. We hope and pray that it will play in the new restored cathedral.

I love to watch M. Castagnet play. No matter how difficult the piece it appears effortless when he plays it. Really is a great gift to have so many videos available here!

This introverted work grows on me every time I hear it. Beautifully played here.

I think this is the most introvert work he composed; excellently performed by Yves!

Great observation. A shame we cant ask Maitre Dupre what was behind his muse on this occasion. Outstanding performance.

A réflexive walk. A kind of giant steps with soul introspection intervals.

Sorry! Why is this great man only titulair of the choir organ?!?
@raphaelmeyer99405 жыл бұрын
Being titulair of the choir organ in Notre Dame is already a major achievement ! (for instance Michel Chapuis). And usually it is a temporary bench before being the titulair of the grand organ eslewhere.

Yves!

6 minute of one pattern in the prelude. Inexcusable. Fugue much better. Performance exquisite.
@federicosavio2 жыл бұрын

This fine orgen never will be played again, because they had no dime for fire protection.
