What I do is, do my back exercise after 2 sets, If I start to feel sorenes in my forearms, (which would damage my back failure) I then put on straps, It sonewhere tires my forearms and helps me to fail my back as well. Started this recently 2 months, intermediates can try this,

Thanks for the input :) I think mind muscle connection is something which takes time and some of it is psychological as well, once you start seeing difference, the brain starts to accept the connection more and more.. so ya, it will happen. @@VAIBHAVSINGHMUSIC yes you are correct about this brother. I thing I started to do in my back sessions was I dropped the weight slowed the eccentric and started to feel the back stretch and contract. This helped me developing a good mind muscle connection

Technic is important while doing any excersize.if you cant connect with the muscle and going too heavy then its useless and waste of energy. Keep away from ego lifting. Starting with light weight with more reps will do wonders.

You don't understand the language and that's why you don't get it. He said, "I'm shooting this video on my leg day" Also he wasn't trying to teach you forearm exercises that you already know. It was more of a tips and trick video. His point was- don't use straps when deadlifting as it reduces the involvement of your arm strength. Instead try holding the weight closer to your finger tips to activate your forearm. The whole point of the video was- you can actually train/ maintain your forearms without dedicated exercises.
