This video goes over real time fecal cultures of metabolic prone and insulin resistant horses, comparing those results with a test group that is part of our herd, demonstrating the differences in the digestive microbiome and lactic acid bacterial overgrowth. This culture demonstration opens the door to reveal the likelihood that there is an underlying digestive microbiome imbalance present, which may be a primary or secondary event, but nonetheless, needs to be addressed properly through diet, exercise, and proper targeted supplementation.
