This is Nova’s tribute to her family. Just 2 days after recording the song, Nova got a call that her grandmother, who had Parkinson’s, had died of a heart attack. Just a week after grandma’s death, they made this video. The emotional pain is real and easily felt. She made this video before the rona shutdown, sitting on it for over a year. I’m so glad she finally released it. #hangovergang for Nova 🤘🏻🤘🏿🤘🏼🤘🏽

She made this song for her Grandmother and before she could let her hear it she passed away and a week later filmed this video so very raw emotions and if you look at Tom he’s almost crying his self!! He knew how hard it was for her to sing this and record as well!! She had so many people reach out to her and tell her they could relate to this song in their own lives and she said she didn’t realize how so many people could relate to it and interpret it to their own stories, but is so happy that they could!!!🙏🏽🙌🏽💪🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽🥰❤️💯🫶🏽!!!

Yeah she is talking about her actual family. She's talking about mine too. Crazy how well it describes me, my son, and my mom. It always chokes me up for real. The tears feel almost good rolling down listening to this.

Like everyone has said this was about her family. Her Grandmother died a couple of days before they filmed this. The emotions are real and raw. She waited a year to release it. Great Reaction as always God bless!

This song always hits me hard and makes me cry. I wish I could have shared this with my mom before she passed away. I know she always felt like she failed me in some way or another and I never felt like she did. I think of her every time I hear this and miss her. She would have loved Tom and Nova’s music! ❤

Nova is a very interesting person, great personality, but also very quirky. Yes, this track is based on real events in her life. Hits you in a certain way. Love her music and how she and Tom goof around and have fun with each other. #NovaRockafeller

Ya'll are doing good things out here, don't let the drama get you down. I may have said this on another of your videos but God has been working on me lately, laid out a path for me to take, I was starting to feel ehh about it and then I found your channel and every time I see a new video from you guys I feel like , man I gotta get on in. Theres no doubt in my mind that God is pushing me through you guys. As long as you guys keep God first, you'll do big things. I found Tom about 2 years ago and found out that music makes me emotional lol. I fight back tears every time with this song. Wishing Well is another great one with a hard message Genghis Kahan is my favorite Nova song that she has a video for though.

Jesus on my Neck is very different, I can see how it's not for everyone. She has other songs that are better, and really worth watching. 'Dear Nova' is a vulnerable song from her, but still gives that don't mess with me vibe. Call Me (Batman) is a fun, high energy song, and really showcases her rapping ability. Well worth the watch. #NovaRockafeller
