He was disqualified from the US Open because he accidentally hit the referee. They invited him, let him enter Australia, then imprisoned him and deported him. They did not let him enter and play in the USA. At Roland Garros they put him to play from 11 pm to 4 am. Then, when he complained that it was slippery, they didn't want to wet the clay, so he got hurt. He has been playing in a hostile atmosphere for 20 years. Why? Because he is from small, freedom-loving Serbia, because he is not a globalist model, but a brave heart with a free soul. Enough is enough.

Years ago, Serbian born tennis player Alex Bogdanovic, 3 years older than Djokovic, took up British citizenship and where did that get him? A 14 year long tennis career making on average $50,000 a year and unknown as a player to Serbs as he scraped out a living. That being said, the British do like to hand out passports to foreigners in the hope of backing a 'British' winner in the future. I hope Bogdanovic's new passport was worth it.

He is the GOAT but that is not enough for some people. When Murray won Wimbledon against Djokovic, the crowd was anti-Djokovic and Murray won off a match point where Djokovic was serving, but was interrupted by someone screanming out as he served and put him off, and he lost the match. When Federer beat him, I remember the crowd jeering anything Djokovic did, whether good or bad. At the end of the match, Federer did not criticize the crowd for putting his opponent off in case he needed that kind of advantage in the future. Such are sporting 'legends'.

I'm an American. Huge fan of Djokovic. He is the GOAT. I think he's classy, intelligent, and gracious. But I am still wondering if he misinterpreted the crowd for booing. I think the crowd was obnoxious in their chanting Ruuuuune. It's not Wimbledon etiquette. But I'm not convinced that they were booing Novak. Either way, I stand with Djokovic on the overall matter since there's a lot of hate for him in general, and I will never understand it. He's awesome! I'll probably stop following tennis when No1e retires. Yes, I'm a Serb, and I cheer for him (not root, he's not my relative or something), mostly because I simply adore when he slams the door to the some of western crowd, just in front of their noses. There is no better feeling. They can boo him, hate him, make him bad, make him a villain, but the truth is that some westeners are exactly all of the above, showing that during the matches. And that is exactly why Serbia will never get along with England, France, etc, as we serbians refuse to dance in your spoiled rhythm. Cheers

The Wimbledon crowd again booed Novak's name when it was mentioned after the Musetti vs Fritz. The crowd is scared to death that Novak will match Golden Boy Federer's record. The same happened when Hank Aaron (a black baseball player) was about to break Babe Ruth's (a white baseball player) home run record back in the 60s. Those Wimbledon "baboons" tried to conceal their boos by screaming Ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuunne, which deliberately sounds like booooooooo. Novak was not fooled. So the crowd is going to continue booing Novak, but that will only help Novak win...so please, Wimbledon crowd, please...continue booing Novak by all means!

I have been a Djokovic fan long before he started to get close to Federer and Nadal. He is the greatest because he accomplished despite hostility from crowds. Federer and Nadal never experienced what Djokovic did and I'm not sure they would have accomplished what he did if they faced the pressure he did. Djokovic is not as gifted as them but he worked hard with a disciplined mind and made difficulty life adjustment to be able to complete with them. I admire him more for that and also because he comes from a small, no powerful country. He represents the underdog, the minority. He is the ultimate professional. Emily, I disagree with your attempt to characterized Serena Williams as a drug, steroids user. You are being like the British crowd you criticized. She is a black woman and much of the standards and calculations of BMI and other measurements were normed on whites. Athletes are tested and Serena was rigorously drug tested. You cannot sit on the sideline and try to take away what she accomplished simple because of your ignorance or perhaps racial bias. I also object to your " mental illness" dig at Venus. You make sense in a lot of what you say but sometimes you talk foolishness and sounds like the very people you criticized. You are not a medical doctor or mental health specialist. Stop trying to take down two outstanding black athletes with your racial bias. They were excellent athletes, respect them. They did a lot for the game. Would love ❤️ to hear you comments on how the one with 'mental illness' led the fight for equal pay for female tennis players to now be for every Major.

As a huge Tennis fan for over 40 years, I have lost interest in the overall competition since they "locked up" Djokovic in Australia like a criminal and banned all Russian and Belarusians from playing at Wimbledon a couple of years ago. Let's also remember that today 10th of July is birthday of Nikola Tesla - one of the greatest Serb among the giants Milankovic, Pupin, Mileva (married Einstein) - and in sport and in principles Novak is in par (at least very close to) Tesla.
