The idea you have for Almost There... yes! That sounds absolutely adorable. I've always wanted to visit New Orleans, this would be such a cool way to do so. Also, loved your nihilistic Capricorn view on romance. 🤣 I'm a Pisces & primarily read dark romance. One of the books that shifted me more towards horror in romance was Liza James' The Mad House. It's [loosely] based on Lizzy Borden, also a sapphic romance. It's got a lot of religious trauma and mental illness rep in it too.

Love your new channel! I feel that same about reading quantity over quality. Trying not to shame myself for not reading as much as I thought I was going to.

I have smacked myself with my Kindle…multiple times. 🤦‍♀️ I host my book club in December and still need a book pick.I am excited to get your thoughts on the non-horror books (we are all wimps unfortunately). We have made it through some dark fantasy and historic novels that have some horrific scenes but that is as close as we get. Tales from the Gas Station is might be a contender for a book club pick. I think the vlog idea is really fun. I love reading fiction where it also give information about occupations, events, places, hobbies etc. and you feel like you learned something sneakily while reading a story. I would be interested to know if New Orleans rang true to you.
