Honestly, nothing ever hits me harder than the opening of Destiny with the Astronauts making a touchdown onto Mars and discovering the Traveler. That will always send chills down my spine.

It's crazy that the Xbox 360 with 512 MB of system memory and way less than that in VRAM on PowerPC architecture from 2006 could run Destiny. Truly a work of technical art. And honestly, the game still holds up and doesn't look bad despite being at 720p. Congrats to Bungie's optimization team on this one.

The entire D1 soundtrack still sends me to a special place. The only D2 track that comes close is Deep Stone Lullaby. Loving these trips down memory lane NH

Missed the days where Destiny was a little spooky.. dark.. limited abilities use. And where exotics felt great to get as you can't rebuy it

I didn't complete this "raid" until age of triumph update was released but my first couple runs through it were awesome. The Taken King through Age of Triumph were the best time in Destiny for me. Everything was going so good for me. I think that's why I really grasp onto destiny and loved it so much until this day. But now My life has changed and playing Destiny just doesn't hit the same like I want it to. It's like almost everything that was going good for me back in Destiny 1 has went bad and I project that on to the game and I let that dictate if I'm enjoying the experience or not.. strange I know haha.. So watching these Destiny 1 videos really hits different for me. Thanks man.

I love running the last gen version of Crota’s End. Nothing hits my nostalgia harder than playing Destiny 1.

I had 196 crota clears ((mostly solos or duoing to help a friend)) and never got swordbreaker once, I still don't have it to this day and its the only raid weapon in all of Destiny 1 that i could never obtain, when I saw it in your postmaster i actually said out loud "you f*cking b*tch" LOL thanks for the nostalgia and props on remembering the og strats :)

I started playing D1 on 360 a couple of years ago, on a friend’s account. I really enjoyed the small community that it had at the time. I logged back into D1 on 360 last week after I watched your first video on this series. Do you plan on attempting a King’s Fall Raid on 360? If so, do you have a team in mind for that attempt?

I just want to say, your D1 videos really give a guy with no idea just how different this game was. I wish more than anything I would have played it. When it launched, I was taking a break from gaming for a few years. There’s nothing I enjoy more than hearing stories of the game and where it shone the brightest. Thanks for always making entertaining videos!

I like it that you play the old destiny 1 because that is the only destiny 1 I played. Played it on ps3 then switchen over to destiny 2 on pc. But yeah I begane playinh D1 in 2018 and begane d2 in 2020.

Destiny 1 is such an amazing game, I still really do enjoy it, was playing earlier today as it happens. If only it had crossplay because it's impossible to find a fireteam. I've never got the chance to do a D1 raid, so it looks like I'll have to solo Crota's end if I ever want to do it. I got to the final boss one time with someone random who knew how to do it, but they kept dying on Crota and shaking their head at me whenever I tried to help, then they just left.

best raid i have ever did next to wrath. Just for the fact that during these times everyone was having fun whether you didn’t know what to do or a cheese god. every raid run was always goofy and fun. man do i miss these days.

Destiny was such a great game, and I made so many memories on it. However, this video made me realize that Destiny 2 (although having had some content issues) is a definite improvement; way better than people are willing to give credit for.

I still have destiny 1 on ps3 and play it atleast few times a month, this version is still really fun!

I never got to play destiny 1. Completely missed it. But it looks v nice

I miss when raids were soloable. Now you have to have an orgy with the bosses and mechanics to get a damage buff so you can slap your warlock’s ass and they can nova bomb the boss

Hey man, great video, but I really wanted to ask about the server stability on X360. I play on PS3 to this day, but its almost unplayable because most of the time players cant connect to each other, constant crashed, that kind of thing. Is it the same on 360?

I loved that Strike 😅 I still remember the days when if you never had Gally you weren't welcome. Yeah 6 of them... When In all honesty it only took 2 Gally Rockets to put him down on one knee even on hard mode. You just needed a capable sword bearer and two rockets hitting him at the same time. Then run about the tower in an illumination of turquoise shaders and a Necrocasm on your back 😂 I'm so happy I came across this as it has brought back so many happy and painful memories back... ie: Hoping for a Gally or the Fatebringer to drop. 😢 lol

Say what you will about Crota. But it was such a great beginner friendly raid for newbies and i absolutely loved helping them in this raid. Hell i would solo the raid just for the fun of it. Didn't even care about the loot.
