This is a song I recorded many, many years ago on an old tape style 4 track & a really crappy drum machine.They are quite old, some are of Olongapo City, a place I will always remember. And some are of me & Linda Chavez, a girl I can never forget.

Ami Vergara, Subic bay, Cubi Point, Olongapo, Barrio Barreto, Bacguio. A beautiful girl and places that I will never forget. So far it's been 44 years since.

Oh great video and liked the song. Sounded fine to me. Can't say I recognized much of the places as I was there 67-69. Back in 72 to marry the girl I could not forget. I never got much past the VFW place.

Papa john the owner passed away 4 years ago in New York he went back home after the volcano eruption.so does his wife.no more My Other Place.

There are some areas of Olongapo other than the Magsaysay Drive that should’ve been featured here also, during this recordings. Some of the people who’ve never been to Olongapo would have a perception that our town is just that, a sin city, as was named. So very, very sad. If you go and visit Olongapo now, you will be very surprised at how progressive it has become. The infrastructures has changed, and so many improvements done in areas that are quite impressive; the schools, parks, schools and many others. Thanks to the people governing it now, they’re whose hearts remain to love our town. I will always be a proud Olongapena. 🙏❤️

D Cave I hung out in that bar drank lots of San Miguel back in 72 was there aboard the USS Schenectady LST-1185 Battalion Landing Team 3/4 on Yankee Station , Easter Offensive

Hi Bill. I've been back to the Philippines many times. But sadly, I've never made it back to Alongapo. I've been wanting to go back there for a long time. I spend most of my time there in Guiuan, Eastern Samar.
