I am 65 years old. I've been an army since 2016. A woman from Ohio. I suffer from low self esteem and I have no family support. I love BTS because of their dedication, hard work. They taught me to love myself. When ever I am feeling down THEY lift me up. I will always stan BTS.

I am 77yrs old and BTS found me three years ago when I heard Mic Drop in a shop. I have been hooked ever since 😂. They helped me through a very bad time and I can never thank them enough. My children don’t understand but accept it. For the first time in my life, I bought an album without knowing what was on it! Love from Finland 💜💜💜

39 this year, 4 growing kids, a university lecturer..completely falls into this 7 beautiful guys.. Often used them and big hit success stories as a subject (im teaching management) in my class..all my students knows that their lecturer is totally an army. And im proud of it..

@@milakakijalan hello colleagues...where u at? Yes, BTS has an undoubtful impact, where we can use them on many occasion, so do to our teaching. They only not gave us good music, they gave us support, respect, good image, humbleness, personal persona and their partnership with UNICEF was very impactful. I personally believe, regardless of our culture, religion, beliefs, age and many more differences, we are unite by this 7 beautiful men. Borahae army...

I am 49 years old from Toronto, Canada. Has 3 teenager boys. I dive deep into BTS since last year during pandemic started. I work as a ICU nurse here in Toronto and during the pandemic after work I stayed away from my family and BTS helped me get through by listening to their music and watching their videos.

BTS are truly amazing. I am a 42 year old mother of 2 teenage boys and I love BTS. Their music and message got me through a bad divorce after 20 years of marriage. NJ am 67 yrs. old and BTS got me through when i contracted the covid menace back in Dec. if i hadn't knew of BTS earlier i probably would have succumbed to the virus. I said briefly in the live chat. I knew a very shy 18 year old who had been to previous BTS concerts with a friend. She was due to go to one (that was cancelled because of Covid) but her friend wasn't available. We were worried when she said she would go on her own, but she said "Don't worry, I'll be fine. I'll be with Army, they'll look after me!". Amazing!

Welcome to the fandom! I've been an ARMY since 2015. I'm from Iraq and I moved to California almost 3 years ago, 23 years old and a pre medical student ^^ This is an answer to your question about where we are from! You definitely won't regret becoming a fan of the boys! They truly are artists that are on another level! And humble and amazing human beings! I recommend attending one of their concerts once the pandemic ends I attended their concert in Rosebowl, Pasadena in 2019 and it was mind blowing! Best experience ever!

This is why I am ARMY, 40 years old, from Spain. I always loved music, I listen to a lot of different genres, but I wasn't curious about kpop, I guess simply because I don't understand the language, I always pay attention to the lirics, like to sing along.. But then I kept seeing things about Bts, about the Army and I got curious, I wanted to know what they are saying cause they have such a large and dedicated audience. Learning about the positivity and all the messages Bts put in their song, I said this is something I want to listen to cause they gave me hope for a better world 💜💜💜

Hello thanks for the reaction. I live in Turkey and I am 20 years old. Ever since I got to know BTS, my perspective on my life has completely changed. When I was unhappy, depressed, Bts and Armies took me out of there. There is a lot of prejudice against Bts in my country, and that makes me very sad. But as I teach people around me this, I see that their reaction also changes. I can freely shout that I am Army. Genres of music can never determine your age, gender or identity. I wish people get rid of their prejudices. I want BTS to reach more people. The army is growing, Bts is growing. Together we are stronger and happier. Thanks, see you in the next reaction video. I was very lazy, lazy to change, lazy to faced hardship, lazy to meet people.. Then I know BTS in 2015, that the first time I know that if i want get something better, i have to faced, change and showing love more. I'm from Brazil, I'm 25 and a lawyer. I'm with them since I was 18. They have helped me a lot through these years. I suffered with depression, tried suicide 3 times and their songs and messages helped me to not try it again, helped me to discover that I'm strong and if that they survived the dark moments I can do it too. Now I'm pregnant, and my daughter is going to born on September, and if I'm alive to give her life is because of them, because they didn't let me give up! P.s: me and my husband have the song "Answer: love myself" as our couple song, because he says that I showed him how to love himself, and I tell him that BTS and him made me see that I'm important, that I need to love myself 'cause I survived so many abuses that I'm a warrior and should be proud of it, and not ashamed (as I was before meet them)!

I´m female, 30 years old from Sweden. I'm currently studying cultural heritage and archaeology, I used to work in a nursing home before deciding to change my career. I've always struggled with a low self-confidence, not being kind to myself as a teenager since I used to self-harm but BTS gives me hope that I can achieve my dreams no matter how far-fetched they seem, that I can find someone who loves me for who I am, flaws and all, but most importantly, they are teaching me to low myself and that it's okay to not always get everything right, to not be perfect. I love them and what they stand for.

Could you watch "Who is BTS the Seven Members of Bangtan by Suga and Spice" and "The Most Beautiful Life Goes On by Asian Theory". These videos are more about the individual members, their personalities, talents and backgrounds, whereas this video is more about why and how they're popular, their success and some of their hardships. I think it would be great for you to know more about them as individuals too.

I second this. While the current video introduces BTS as a group, "The seven members of Bangtan" introduces each member Although it is a bit outdated, it's still the best video out there for this subject right now

BTS is very famous in my country Philippines. Their simplicity, personality, kind heart, they're down to earth kids. I'm 65 yrs old and I first heard them singing in 2014. I was a big fan of BTS but not army yet. They are an amazing kids and very humble. They love their ARMY'S so much, that why everytime they received an award they always mentioned ARMY'S. I just had my anniversary last April 27 as an ARMY. Before, I am a bit shy calling myself as an ARMY since I cannot afford to go to their concerts or can by even a single album or merch. But most of the ARMY told me that its not like that. Loving their music, artistry and supporting them is that matters. The imoact they had with me is Im about to give up but the Lord lead me to one of the post of Namjoon ghat sh_t things happens but always remember the one who loves you and until now I can say that I am still alive to hold back of that incident bc of the stress and anxiety coz of the pandemic. other fandoms calls us as toxic fans but in reality we are the educated one. there are from a lot of groups of professionals. Like the last Hybe-Ithaca, we are leaerning from the videos and post of ARMYs that are in that field so that most of us will be able to understand it. I am proud to be part of the Family of ARMY and for having BTS in my life Proud to say , I am a mother of three and I am 42. Keep fighting. Im 38 from Singapore and i found bts when i was at my lowest. I had isolated myself for a year, i ignored my friends, i wasnt showering sleeping or eating normally, i had given up and was just waiting for the day when i get the energy to end my life. When i found them, they gave me something to look forward to, their music comforted me and surprised me by how it did lift my spirits. Slow i found myself again and started living. Its been 4 years since and i am thankful every day that i found them and how they continue to make music that is food for my soul and their lovely selfs adds colour and laughter to my life.

I'm 40, an Engr and a Literature Prof too. I use BTS MVs in my literary symbolism and imagery class. I got into BTS after hearing Mic Drop and Deachwita last year. Epiphany made me cry and realize I never did love myself. From then on, I became an ARMY, studied their albums from beginning to present, their collabs, individual works. They inspired me so much to do good and be positive and to love myself little by little. Suga taught me to be stronger, Jimin's solo songs cured my insomnia 😄. I love these boys very much. 💜 Love from California, Japan, Philippines, France, Germany. I'm a mix of these ethnicities, Currently calling Japan and the Philippines home.

Hey there, I'm a teacher from Kuwait! I'm 25! I'm happy to see that you're starting to see why they are so special.. BTS have phenomenal music, but it is also accompanied by an insane work ethic and they are genuinely good people. Most of the time when we look at the world, it feels as though the deserving do not get to win, but with BTS, it's like you're finally getting to see that you don't HAVE to sacrifice your humanity or morals to get to the top. They worked extremely hard to climb up this mountain with so many odds against them, but they continued making music that talks about things that really matter. I wouldn't be able to give them such wholehearted support if they weren't so obviously good people who want to make a difference in the world. Their morals really align with mine and through their music they have given me so much strength to get through some of the roughest patches. I can't help but feel immensely grateful to BTS because they really have changed my life in undeniable ways..

PLEASE READ: A few years ago, U.S. media would take shots at the BTS ARMY because we were loud about BTS. They would say we were nothing but a bunch of 14 year old girls, trying so hard to discredit our support for BTS. Back then, there was a lot of xenophobia & racism toward BTS. They were trying to hold BTS out of the U.S. market When Map of The Soul; Persona Came out, RM spoke to ARMY and said, Stand with us and we will give you cover & protect you. BTS has shut down many reporters trying to discredit or diss ARMY. When BTS is asked about their crazy fans, BTS would turn it around and say, how amazing ARMY are as a fan base and that they are proud of us. Honestly, I've been in other fan groups but there is nothing like being an ARMY. This week we are working on an initiative to help with the covid crisis in India. They have run out of Oxygen. ARMY are raising money to try to buy and transport oxygen tanks to hospitals. Many people assume we love BTS because they are great looking young men. That is part of it. It's their talent. Their ability to sing, dance, rap, write & produce. It's that they make us laugh. We get to see the care, the teasing and respect they have for each other. They share important moments with the fandom. They've let us watch them create the whole process while they produced the theme song for their show called; In The Soop. If you wonder why we are supporting BTS; It's so many things but it's also because they inspire us with their actions and their lyrics. Thanks for the reaction.

They really give their all and have such a deep respect for artistry you see it through their music, choreos, mv’s, lyrics. They are deeply passionate and are so humble 💜

Dear NJ, We weren't kidding when we constantly said that ARMY and BTS is way more than just the hype and music. You have no idea how many ARMYs around the world, whom have somehow been touched/saved/conquered their struggles through BTS's music. Although we originally became ARMY because of their music and their message, their genuineness towards ARMY made us stay.
