I remember getting the game as a boy around 24-25 years ago, game blew me away as a child. Now the remake is out and I'm getting the same excitement I did when I was a child all these years later.

I’ve had the original game sitting in my switch library for a few years and have played the beginning part of the game pretty scattered throughout times but these last couple months I have been playing it and it has been the most fun I’ve had in a while

My story of getting into final fantasy is very similar to Joi! which is kinda crazy! My older brother played final fantasy! He was playing 7 and then 10 and I was super young while watching him played and I really wanted to play those games 😔 I was so itching to play that I even looked through the official strategy guide to 7 so I that I could in a sense better prepared myself for when I was old enough to play! Years past and I was finally of right age to play final fantasy and I was so excited!!!! I started to with 6! Then 7 but I didn't get too far the first time because I was really busy with school 😮‍💨 I eventually did beat it during summer break of 2014 and it was honestly of my favorite times of my life!! Not only did I finally beat 7 but I also played all of 10, 10-2, and (maybe a little off topic) I really got into kingdom hearts and played 2 and birth by sleep ❤️ summer 2014 means so much to me ❤️ I'm so happy and proud of myself for completing all of those games 🥹❤️ I forgot to mention this, besides the final fantasy games I talked about earlier, I've so far played 8, 9, 15,16, 7 remake and Crisis Core! I hope to played the rest one day!!

I remember when my older brother got me in the final fantasy franchise over 20 years ago and ff7 was the first final fantasy that i watched him play, That was when i got into it and never stopped playing it. Can't wait for Rebirth!

Great platform love hearing all of your experiences with FF! The graphic thing is very relatable especially with the odd key bindings on PC, I tried ff7 classic years ago and i was like graphics no good, nuh uh. I'm so glad i gave it another chance last year and its now my top 5 fav

Final Fantasy 7 was my very FIRST Turn-Based RPG or even RPG in general .. but I was 4 back then , and all I remember was the name ""Final Fantasy"" and Cloud Strife and his Buster Sword , that's about it .. then Im not able to play it until now .. currently playing the OG and Remake and Im glad I play it late, im 26 now and i'll be able to appreciate things more .. if I play it as a Kid I probably only appreciate the combats and the grinds

my very first FF game was FF IX (greatest hits) on the ps1. i watched my uncle play it all the time and i fell in love and beat VII on the ps1. I was so young 😅

Yuffie is still one of my favorites. There’s something very special and impactful for me watching characters who wants their world view expanded but at the same time deeply wants to keep the life and world as they know it from crumbling. Her issues seems almost surface level in comparison to her friends’ and to some point, it is; however those problems have made up her entire lifestyle and are core so they are as deep to her as the world itself being in danger.

Wow this was so fun it felt like 15 minutes instead of an hour and a half...

I just started playing crisis core the other day. Reunion.❤❤❤❤ it took me like half a day to get into it, but I am loving it now, met Cissne! she has the exact same hairstyle, I knew exactly who she was when she walked up to Zack the puppy. I love how Zack gets called a puppy by Angel and cloud is called a puppy and the demo by. Sephiroth it’s perfect.

It's hard for me to enjoy FF CC because I dislike the whole Genesis part and it distracts me from Zack and the rest 😅 Genesis lore aside, I dig the rest.

Zack is the best character

i love zack, but hes so overrated. the way hes written hes too perfect, to the point that hes boring, like superman. which is why he had to go. Cloud is the flawed loser that players can actually relate too. he has so much more actual depth to him and a much cleare, better arc overall, which is why he is the main charachter, not Zack.
