As a Jeonghan's bias, it hits me really hard seeing him in the last scences. I remembered Jeonghan once said that he want to be an island for everyone to come to him and leave when they feel better TVT It's just feel like no matter how hard life is, we always have him and ofc 17 by our sides. To all the Carats that have to struggle out there, i really wanna hug u guys. Stay safe and i love you guys so much TVT

One of the many reasons why I love Seventeen so much, is how much I can relate to their songs. Each and every word of this song hits me so hard! And the fact that they said this is "inspired by everyone around the world ". My heart! 😭

In in the soop season 2, jeonghan said that he wants to be an island to the members. The place where the members can come to whenever they want. And thats exactly Jeonghan biggest role in SVT - their safest place, their shoulder to cry on, SVT’s counselor. AND in the music video, Jeonghan is the one who waits and the members are running to him. In the other hand, Scoups is like the dad of the group. The members relies on him a lot especially when it comes to things that they are too afraid to do alone. If Jeonghan is SVT’s emotional support, Scoups is their protector. AND in the MV, it was Scoups who is watching over them. And when the members are trying to escape from whatever is chasing them, Scoups save and help them escape by switching the lights off. And it was Scoups who met Jeonghan first before both of them welcome the members. (They truly are the parents of the group) Its just beautiful how they tells a story about svt through this “TRUMAN SHOW” inspired MV and it match perfectly.

same! i BAWLED when i saw them together at the end 😭 there’s something so precious seeing them together after all these years, despite all the challenges they’ve been through as a group. i also think that the ending also translates to carats being with them throughout their journey, that the bond we all have kept us stronger and kept us looking forward to all the good things life can offer (even though life is also full of negativities and problems). it’s such a nostalgic and special song 🥹

I really like Hoshi's part about "when I was young and watched cartoons I wondered why I couldn't be like the main character", and then in the mirror is drawn a monkey head -> aka a reference to the monkey king, aka Sonogong aka the korean title of Super. So for me this is about escaping the constructs of society (Truman Show can also be compared to the idol life, of people watching your every move), and in Super they finally get to be who they want to be.

Maybe you have seen The Truman Show? Everyone in SEVENTEEN is Truman in the MV. Many details in the MV correspond to The Truman Show. This is also one of the forms of "FIGHT FOR MY LIFE" expressed by SEVENTEEN. Anyway, SEVENTEEN is very amazing.

the music video had a truman show reference, and after watching the movie knowing how f up was truman's life too made it more emotional. then the lyrics, and how it just shows everyone has their own struggle and wanted to leave for a little peace of our own. svt really made me bawl while watching the music video. and i agree with you, i would get sad if other people call themselves dumb, but i've called myself dumb a thousand times so it makes it even more relatable.

This song is close to me on such a personal level. I'm mostly happy all the time, but when I am sad, I get sad sad. Depressingly sad. This song makes me feel seen and tells me that we all are going through our own struggles. It's the way of life. And if you value yourself and your life you gotta fight. That's the only way to get through tis harsh harsh world. I love you Seventeen and thank you for all the hype and comforting music you'll have given us to get through this journey of life a bit more happily. I really get it. I cried like immediately into the MV because I already have listened to the song so much and cried reading the lyrics. BUT the end where they all come together and look so happy - ok yes I got emotional again but it felt so good. I feel like this song feels so vulnerable, it feels like it is pulling out true things from my heart and exposing them and then comforting and encouraging me. It's so beautiful and meaningful and I love them for this

I was sitting alone in a cafe watching this mv when it has just released, while paying attention to the lyrics i was like...okay this song is hella deep but i didnt react that much, maybe bcz i was in a public space and not at home. So when i got home i rewatched the mv and crying out loud😭

Waah now I really want to fight for my life. I'm used to live a normal/ boring life, doing nothing really meaningful to me. I just live and see the days pass.
