Whether you're into chemistry or not, you gotta meet the guy responsible for the Periodic Table! It's the must-have tool for all scientists. Who was he? When did he live? How did he even come up with the thing, let alone remember all those pesky elements?? Check out his story (and excuse the crappy visuals - we're on a tight budget).

@@nowyouknowabout I made it too small. Got busted cheating on a test trying to read it with a magnifying glass. I lifted weights, bulked up and had a bigger version tattooed on the other arm. Worked better. 🙂

Is it not Henry Mosely who made the modern periodic table you've shown.

You've got a very good point. Yes, Mosely did indeed make a version of the periodic table, you're quite right, but Mendeleev got all the credit for his version which is still used today almost as he wrote it.

If you understood chemistry you wouldn’t say that. Moseley determined atomic numbers accurately. He made Mendeleev’s table more accurate, just added some points, not creating his own. The whole world uses Mendeleev’s table scheme. What table do you use I don’t know.

Yes. It was Doberiner law of triad which was seed but later Newland and then Mendeleev built first periodic table based on atomic weight. Then Mosley built long form of periodic table based on atomic number.

Why at other places it's written Mendelejev, Mendeleyev, and Mendeleev here? How was it written in his birth certificate? I'd probably should be researching this at duckduckgo.com for more bias results
