Let's be honest, the reason why we didn't see the whole fight with Mereoleona and Princia is that it would take up the entire run time for the final battle, and the animation team would have to go beyond their limits to animate the whole fight and break the budget to do so 😂😂. I would love to see an hour or half-hour special of just their fight; that would be epic. 😍😍🤩🤩

Remember that when Asta saw Lucius (the guy with 100% of Licifero’s power in base) he said there was no way Julius would lose to him also Lucius says he’s stronger than Julius as if it’s some massive flex. Julius is actually pretty broken. He could also stalemate the ancient demon that Asta needed Devil Union to defeat. Honestly you could just argue Julius was being nerfed by Lucius in the Patry fight

Another thing to mention is that Yami when fighting Dante outright said his magic wasn't on Julius' level. Aside from Body magic plot, Yami was shown to be > Dante Even if we dont consider Luicius doing shenanigans to mess up Julius... That first "death" that Julius got was certainly plot because he'd have been too OP to keep around for all the events that took place after that moment lol

Asta is one half of the time devil astaroth hence why the symbol on his head band represents half of the symbol seen on when time magic is used. They’ve been telling us from the beginning that the devil lives in the fifth leaf. Asta and yuno are almost exact parallels, yuno is loved by mana while asta is hated or out right rejected by it, he doesn’t get his own grimoire, he gets lichts 5 leaf, libe was also born without mana which is also unheard of. What if Lucius inadvertently split astaroth in 2 and eat his heart to gain his time magic, leaving his 2 parts without mana, eventually gaining anti magic, asta is the abnormality he can’t predict because he was never supposed to be anything more than nothing

Hes not a half devil bro. i think Lichita just named his son to the devil who saved the clover kingdom before the story began. We dont know the full story after all. We dont know when or how Julius was possessed by astaroth. We don't know why astaroth saved the clover kingdom in the first place and whos the enemy. We don't know who's the man that released him in the underworld and probably that man is the center of everything.

I think the ranking thing is dumb. Princia fought a Wizard King level opponent. She didn’t really lose, if that sword wasn’t destroyed they would’ve been still fighting. Jester destroyed Yuno, Yami and the other captains by himself. His barrier magic is badass. Edward did not fight them seriously at all. He was emotional and didn’t want to harm black bull. He literally could’ve one shot ice age killed them if he wanted. All wizard kings are powerful as hell. Also remember. Princia is 22 jester 23 and achieved Wizard king

note that Noelle did much much better against Vanica at 70% devil power while Yumo got no diff by zenon at 55%, even though they both lost noelle still did quite a lot of damage to vanica while yuno didn't do a scratch so at this point in the movie Noelle is technically stronger

I think it comes down to 2 things. 1. Xenon in my opinion is stronger then vanica(in fact even stronger than Dante). 2. Yuno is a terribly written character the show focuses more on Asta and the Black bulls with cameos from Yuno and the rest. We never followed Yuno's growth infact in the very first episode Yuno got the four leafed clover and before even the episode ended had to be saved by Asta. in my eyes Yuno suffers from the same writing that destroyed Vangance.

Well, in Yuno's defense, Zenon had haxs on his side since Spatial Mana Domination rendered him unable to fight at his best during their first battle, if Noelle was in his place, I'm not sure she'd have done any better. Plus, while Noelle was fighting a 70% Vanica, that was during the duration Ludic Sanctuary was active, which was buffing Noelle and nerfing Vanica.

Hear me out yes julius lost but my man was making fighting light magic look like childs play it literally took him changing all his magic to defend the entire kingdom and a light speed attack from patry julius wasn't even fighting to win he was fighting to protect the kingdom and he knew the patry would be stopped and his kingdom would be safe so i honestly don't see why he would have gone all out in his battle and although its not truly his magic no one can deny that hes a beast with it

Catching someone who moves and reacts at the speed of light is difficult. Patri already knew that Julius was dangerous since Julius messed up his Patri's arm. The only reason that Julius lost was because Patri found out that Julius wouldn't kill Vangeance, letting him could go all out to make the distraction so that he could actually hurt Julius. Patri wouldn't have gotten a w in a deserted place. Asta and Yuno weren't a match for dark elf Patri and Nozel trounced Patri because his magic's properties reflected light magic. When Yami fought Dante, he remarked that he wasn't as good at predicting as Julius and Asta was impressed when Julius said that Gadja had a sparring match with him in the past. When Lucius boasted that he was stronger than Julius, Asta proclaimed that he would surpass Julius then go beat Lucius. Julius isn't anyone to sleep on.

Asta hasn't mastered the Anti-Magic swords the same way Licht has. Yami's katana is obviously very precious to him. The imperial sword should be given to Asta as more of a trophy he can pin on the wall. When he becomes wizard king he'll start living in the capital.

Tabata really need to make Asta more powerful bcoz in the movie and series it was shown that Asta only uses Anti magic when he holds his sword and he takes his enemy one by one. For me the problem being with princia’s fight is we never really see their full fight even then we only know that mereoleona defeated her though not knowing if she was weakened While we never really seen what the past wizard kings were if pushed to the edge with even princia mentioned that her motivation during the fight and never really had motivation to get better during her time though Julius should be much higher given that he has never fought for real with him never aiming to kill

1. Edward wasn't trying to kill them & straight up had a change of heart. He never went all out. 5. It was stated that Lemiel was not in his prime when he fought Zagred. My List: (Not counting Asta, but counting Acier) 6. Julius (High Stage 1 Arcane) 5&4. Tie: Edward & Jester (Stage 0) 3. Princia (Stage 0 Arcane) 2. Conrad (Stage 0 Arcane) 1.5. Acier, scales to Megicula, who is above Lilith & Naamah (Stage 0 Arcane) 1. Lumiere (Stage 0 Arcane)

I don't think the sword was giving them access to unlimited mana I think the sword was the only thing keeping them alive because they are dead. Those wizard kings are that strong by themselves. I think jester was using mana zone to have an unlimited amount of mana simply because he was was near the fortress and he had to keep up the barrier. but once he put down the barrier he could use all of his own mana combined with using mana zone on the fortress.

Sorry ABD but remember that Julius was scaled to base Lucius before his paladin form so I don't think this is the correct standing for Julius Also we do know that Lucius tends to nerf Julius in fights like with the fight against the ancient demon the timer for his adult form stopped when it shouldn't, it would be safe to say that Lucius allowed the lost to Patry so that Williams magic can be preserved for the tree Qliphoth

From My Opinion Jester was more powerful than Princia as Jester was fighting against Yuno and three captains where as princia was fighting only mereleona.

I think Edward is at least as strong as funny bunny. He could have killed them several times instantly. He barely used any spells and he fought the most hax. Maybe even the only reason the black bulls could move is because of fate magic.
