Lucius’ clone 1v6ing the previous wizard kings reminds me of Madara’s disrespect towards the kages when he said if they would like him to use susano or not with Lucius telling them would they like him to use his paladin form.

I liked the fact that Jester, Edward and Princia were finally going all out in the end but got cut short because the resurrection spell got undone which shows that the wizard king title is just not given to anyone. These are pretty big footsteps Asta's tripping in. Everyone of them forged their own legend. I hope there'll be some exclusive story to each of them when Tabata is finished with the manga.

I think my favorite of the Four is Edward mainly because he's pretty direct when it come to fighting and seems like he tries to shut things down quickly as opposed to dragging it out like Jester or Princia. Plus I like how his Ice Magic has a nice spin on it with the Religious Theme and the fact the guy froze a damn Volcano area. Plus given what he says he could've won the fight if he'd gotten serious.

I honestly think that the first wizard king being the weakest is a good thing, It actually plays into the theme of the new generation surpassing the last, alot of mangas have that theme, But they screw It up, But the bc manga does It Well.

I think jester was my favourite out of all the wizard kings. I mean, no one in the anime world can expect a barrier magic user to be this strong. It's the way he uses his barriers so creatively for both defense and incredible offense, makes him stand out more among all the wizard kings. He actually proves the phrase "The best defense is a good offense".

This is a complete shot in the dark but I think that the strongest wizard King will be the most recent because of the magic knights overall getting stronger as the generations go on I don't have any proof for that but I think it's a reasonable guess.

Lumiere died a premature death before reaching his peak which is ironic for someone that had a 4 leaf. We see how crazy yuno levels up and then how crazy naught is one tapping jack with light magic, if lumiere was given enough time he would have been several times over naught and a fatal counter to Lucius time magic

If Princia can just keep on multiplying her power by multiplying her soldiers and fusing it to her, and Mereoleona with Hellfire Incarnate's power just keeps on exponentially getting stronger as time passes, this means that they'll just keep on getting stronger the more they fight thus they're in an infinite state of one upping each other, making it an endless stalemate. If the title of Wizard King is based on not just merit but who is currently the strongest in the kingdom, wouldn't it make sense that since Mereoleona is a Grand Magic Knight, she'd be appointed as the next wizard king before Yuno and Asta even has a shot since they're still in the next generation, even if Yuno is already appointed as the Captain of The Golden Dawn, it would make sense to appoint the senior first who is currently the strongest in her generation.

I already know lumiere will be dead last, and people will be mad. Also, Julius told Asta in the novel that there is something else it takes to be a Wizard King aside from merit. Is it experience of loss?

You should do versus battles with the new wizard kings

I think that it is very hard to scale the wizard kings specifically present in the movie. They all had different reasons or implications on why they performed the way they did and that they are at the same tier of wizard king. That's why for my wizard king ranking I based it on mostly hax and their abilities on how they would fare against one another and how dominating they would be in combat generally. 1. Lucius 2. Julius 3. Conrad 4. Edward 5. Princia 6. Jester

the problem saying that the captains aren’t at maximum magic is that they likely still be using the same amount of magic even when they don’t have most of it because even when you use a maximum power attack you don’t use all your magic

All these wizard kings just show me that asta gotta be the one to do something different. Like imma be upset if series ends just saying that “With his rise to wizard he created a kingdom where everyone was happy and treated equally.” Nah Tabata made all these broken powerful wizards and practically everyone was f*cked over by the nobility in someway shape or form, so it wouldn’t mean much to me if asta just becomes wizard king, he gotta break the cycle. If tabata does that, this series instantly goes from an 8/10 to a 9.5 for me

Watching this at the first time, I really thought the show could've ended with zagred's defeat, I mean from the story of the anime the intro it tells "how the first magic emperor defeated the big demon", I mean that was all the plot, it was like kurama invading konoha then after all this time we discover obito was the mastermind, then if you notice the intro changes in season 3 and introduce "Asta's journey to become the magic emperor"

so if you say the sword “supplying the wizard kings with magic power” more means it gives them infinite stamina to draw from but doesnt really buff their attacks, shouldnt that logic be inversely used for the captains that fought jester as well? it drained them of their stamina, so that would mean the spells they used on jester were just as strong as they normally would be, the captains just cant fight long because they are low on mana/stamina. i thought of it similar to a video game. if your mana is low, the fireball spell is still gonna do the same damage, you just cant cast as many. i still agree with the overall conclusion of him in last place for sure, but i believe the gap between him and the others isn’t so massive.

I just realized another black Clover hole Yuno has a second soul, but that second soul is a hybrid of a human and an elf meaning that that second soul has two types of magic what if Yuno awakened only the soul humans' magic but not the second soul elven magic side yet. You need to make a discussion about that because a lot of people didn't come up with that type of thought before. An example Charmy is a hybrid he can use two types of magic but Yuno's second soul has elven blood and human running in its veins too.

I don;t think Imperial Sword itself is capable of storing magical attributes, only magical power and through some means, parts of souls and memories. But it does not seem to be able of accessing imagical attributes of previous owners or people who's magic been absorbed, as it's jsut magical power. As for Conrad transformation, the asthetics of it clearly imply it's similar to Demon God (Ancient Demon) transformation, in that four basic elements are combined and used to achieve far greater power. Conrad transformation however adds to that also other elements,making it stronger - though he does not posseses Underworld mana, so that part is unclear. Still, in terms of magical power, he clearly surpasses demon, especialyl since he too absorbs magic. However, considering Julius seemingly hadto use Astaroth power, Conrad seemed like a geniune threat to Lucius plans. As for Ancient Demons themselves - there is only one difference between all three. Licht had all ten magic stones when using forbidden magic, so he immediately formed the most powerful version of Ancient Demon, as he directly tapped into Underworld Mana. In contrary, Spade princes turned into them, but didn't had access to Underworld, so until the opening of first gate, they were incomplete. Afterwards, they started powering up, but got coutnered by two beings which that powering was inefficient against - Asta with Anti-Magic, simply countering it, and Mereoleona, who powered up faster.

So when it comes to saying Conrad can’t scale to anyone higher on the list due to the Lucifero statement, can’t that statement be taken in different ways. All he said was his power was the strongest in the world and not something like of all time etc, as the statement can still be true as anyone who was stronger is dead this can include Conrad as he is dead by this time in the story. The reconfirming from Lucius would still make sense because again he said the the world, which could just mean as of this time frame which Lucius wouldn’t need to argue as its technically true for the time. The statement and all other statements where also made before the movie which means they could also no longer apply or can’t be used as they can now just be outdated at least when compared to things within the movie. There might be more that I’m missing but from watching a stream of yours you use this statement to say Conrad physically can’t scale to anything higher then Lucifero, when I think it doesn’t really give enough evidence to support that.
