Sir, love your videos. What is more accurate Shell or the solid model?

Solid Model is more accurate as it represent the actual product. Shell or beam model are used for simplification and faster simulation with good accuracy.

Sir for running ansys Catia and other softwares, what are the specifications needed for system like graphic card size ,ram etc for smooth running without lagging

Better to buy workstation. Look into ANSYS portal for hardware/workstation requirement. Better to have 32-64 GB RAM/1TB hard disk/ 64-bit Intel or AMD system, running Windows 10, A dedicated graphics card with latest drivers and at least 1GB video RAM.

Hello sir thank you for the video and your explanations of basic options also. But those localized stresses you're showing in 17:01 mins are observed in my model also. I am unable to get rid of that. I am using a similar shell to solid (solid model finely meshed 4-5 elements across thickness) submodel and those hotspotsn are everywhere. if you have any suggestions on how to get rid of those hot spots please let me know. Thanks in advance.

First do proper mesh for your sub-model, as well as keep extra length portion. This stresses at cut boundaries are not required to report, this are localize and needs to ignore.

Hi! Why should we include the internal pressure during submodel anslysis? The original model would already have accounted for displacements and stresses from internal pressure.

We need to consider local loads in submodel too. The global load effect only considered on cut bouradies in the form of displacement only.
