A day after the NPF Party functionaries under Dimapur 2 a/c resolved to endorse & support sitting NDPP MLA Moatoshi Longkumer at a closed door meeting, the Naga People's Front Dimapur division has questioned the illegal use of party nomenclature & banner and tagged the act as desperate for political platform. In this regard, the Dimapur division NPF party held a press conference on Sunday wherein the party leaders expressed their angst over the party defectors who officially resigned from the party but are continuing to use the party banner and name. Furthermore, the leaders tagged the act as illegal and stated that they would take strict legal action against them. The party said that yesterday's act was a political gimmick stunt pulled by a handful of SHGs with the motive to confuse the public. The party also cited that the media produced a false majority when it was only a handful of 202 defectors. Meanwhile , the Dimapur division NPF party leaders demanded clarification of the act. The press conference was led by President of Dimapur- 2 ac, Bendang Aier, President of Dimapur division, T. Loth, Youth President NPF Dimapur Div, Temsuyanger Jamir, senior Vice President Central, Blaiz Iheilung, Minority Wing, President Central. Bishnu Bhattacharjee, VP Youth D-Div, Pushika Awomi.
