Honestly I really thought Miss Holloway was going to be a bigger part because 1980’s obsessed eldritch being/diner witch really fits in with the slasher motif of this musical and thought there would be some scream-esque meta commentary on the nature of horror films told through her lens but I am still really happy with what we got anyway.
@Jan-jt9jl8 ай бұрын
They did say that some of their story ideas for Nerdy Prudes was converted into Nightmare Time plots so maybe they scrapped parts that originally included her and Duke in favour of a more Heathers meets 80s slasher type plot
@Sillylilgrill8 ай бұрын
Luckily the plan for the next potential hatchetfield musical is for it to be a musical all about Holloway, so that’s very exciting

These songs were all written after the pandemic.
@rexyggor64178 ай бұрын
@@jandiqar There's no way. This was planned to be performed before the pandemic existed in 2020 (or earlier 2021 to match the class year). Even if they hadn't started the rehearsal process, the majority of the work would've been done by April 2020. I can't imagine Jeff going into the first day of rehearsal that year saying "I'm not dont writing everything yet" Also I'm under the impression that this was originally going to be the first one they were going to do of the trio.

I know one song that had a change was high school is killing me is the year they graduate got moved from I think 2020 to 2021 (possibly due to nightmare time timelines and the other two musicals are 2018 making Lex and Alice older then and graduated then the npmd cast since Steph though older has class with freshmen Hannah while Alice is graduated in the same timeline being 17 in 2018) there are old demos floating around online including KZfaq and talks about the show before the pandemic
