A very underrated roster. Potter's masterclass coaching is back here again. They're playing better than expected. Not only their tactics, but also their awareness of coverage, counter Ability Combo, accurate situational judgment and responsiveness. they're efforts they have accumulated are turning into solid results. Especially want to praise NaturE, he has really grown as an IGL and is maximizing Jawgemo's raw strengths. Supamen has also transformed into a much more aggressive and proactive controller than before and is showing great performance. There's still a lot to work on, but they've definitely made progress game by game since their win over Sentinels last week. If EG makes it to Shanghai, Seriously certify Potter as one of the best coaches.

bro I use to say potter was a bad coach but last year she proved me wrong and still this year people doubt her and her ability to make great rosters, like what did they see in 2023 that couldnt be replicated again. EG is really improving with every game. There was some concern when only Jawgemo and Coach Potter remained from last year, but the four new players have now integrated very well into the team and are functioning well. Among them, Supemen and Derrek have been outstanding performers in the NA scene for many years, from their days with Rise to the present day.

Nah demon is surely mechanically gifted and one of the craziest jetts, but the problem is the current maps are heavily favored for raze players Split lotus sunset bind i.e. 4/7 maps raze dominant (icebox needs no duelist) . So clearly it's not a good time for players like demon1. But people who put efforts in mastering raze are definitely enjoying🎉

2 big problems with NRG right now 1. They’re making Demon1 play Raze when Vic is literally the better Raze player. Demon1 needs to play Jett on Jett maps and play a flex role on Raze maps. He is not like Aspas where he can play both Raze and Jett 2. Ethan’s IGLing is worst fucking thing I’ve seen since Shanks’s downfall. He actually needs to step it up

The Best way to describe EG is and potters Coaching is they stick to Fundamentals. They are the Spurs/Nuggets of the T1 Valo League, they aren't to flashy with anything but they damn will cook you with old school/fundamental plays.

Big reason why EG have regained form: Jawgemo's performance. 3 losses: 78/116/15, rating under 0,7 2 wins: 127/102/26, rating above 1,2 This isn't just down to Jawgemo becoming Dawgemo again, it's also a compliment to Potter being able to coach & build the 4 new guys into a system that would support Jawgemo to the best of his abilities. And that's why Potter is an amazing coach. It's not in their hands if they make playoffs (they need G2 to beat LOUD on the very last game of the stage, history literally repeating itself), but they have to be proud with the improvements they've made.

I always knew jawgemmo is their duelist players. While Demon1 is good with mechanical aim, jawgemmo is the one doing duelist role, opening the area and made chaos in the sites. Even with omen

Excellent match and it showcased how 1 agent can really make a difference in certain maps. Ethan's Kay/o almost worked because he had the better read, but Sunset is Breach's playground, his utility value is unmatched in this map and it costed NRG the series. I've seen optic core at their peak, Victor will always be the better duelist, synergy wise. Well played to both teams though!

Role issues. Besides jett, demon1 has only played controller. So if he doesn't play raze, he would have to switch to controller. But that is the only role marved plays. So he can't play anything other than duelist in a single controller team.
