I bought these NRG Innovations Prisma 302 FRP series seats and NRG Innovations steering wheel setup for the hardbody drift truck about 6 months ago and wanted to do a little real world review on them.
So far, I have been extremely pleased with them. No fading or damage whatsoever. I am very happy that NRG fixed the threaded inserts on their seats. Also, I have noticed that the materials they are using seems to be of a better quality standard now. The old NRG 300 seats that I used to have started turning a weird purple color around the bolstering after several months of use. Granted, I live in Texas and it gets extremely hot here, but that was a bit of a let down. This truck has seen plenty of heat and direct sunlight over the past 6-months. If the UV rays were going to turn them purple like the older NRG seats I had, it would have done so by now. So, that's a big bonus!

Great super super clean truck!!! Bro do more videos on it like driving to please I have one I just got mine about 2 months ago a 94 and love the set up you did to yours and I just bought the same rims cause of how sick it looks now I just need to lower it oh and also need to buy the universal fenders flares

Great to hear….I have been a bit worried about the size. I’m 6’1” 215 36-38 waist, but seems I should be fine with the large seat.

@@elijahpollard6828 not too sure on that. I would contact them or a supplier. I'd imagine you could return them, but would probably have to pay a restocking or return shipping fee if they are not defective.

I got them straight from NRG Innovations right before they were released to the distributors. It was the right place, right time scenario. NRG had just added them to their website, and I called and got the set they used for the pictures on their site. Haha You should be able to get them anywhere that sells NRG.

@@Inner_Sanctum Nice one lol, i don't live to far from NRG so i might just call them up and see if they have any in stock a lot of places that sell NRG are sold out i found 2 websites that say they have them idk if they do or don't lol. i love the look of them i'm a big guy hopefully they fit and they have them in stock :)

How supportive are they during hard driving? Do they keep you in place like a proper bucket should?

Yes, I think they provide good support. They also hold you in place just fine during hard driving. Just make sure you have a good floor mounting situation. 9/10 people that blame the seat have janky seat mounts. All these seats, including real Bride and etc., are composite. Without a good floor mount, they all feel like junk.

Yeah, I’ve heard from multiple people that the colored seats seem to fade insanely fast. I haven’t had the same luck with the black seats. They are holding up fine in all my cars. You should definitely send them an email. They would probably send you new covers. If enough people do that, they will have to find out what’s going on and get it fixed.

amy roldan it will fit like any other racing seat. You’ll need to make sure you buy the appropriate seat rails for your car. You’ll bolt the seat to those rails.

So I'm not to scared of my waist not fitting, but I'm 6 foot 3 and have wide shoulders. I had a regular sparco in my car that I ended up giving to a buddy because it was way to small for me. I wonder if these prisma large seats would fit me?

I'm 38-40 waist depending on brand and the seats fit me excellent on that front. So yeah, you won't have an issue with waist. I too have very broad shoulders for a 5' 11" guy. My old man is 6' 6" and I got his, and my grandpa's, shoulders. I suspect your shoulders won't be an issue due to how these seats are designed at the top. They sort of fold out and remain out of the way. However, the only way to be absolutely sure is to measure your shoulders and compare them to the specs or just find someone with the seat and sit in it. Hope this helps dude. Cheers!

I have driven for over 3 hours in these seats and they didn’t bother me. So, not bad enough for me to actively think about it, but they’re not a cloud either…

That's certainly a matter of opinion, but I would say so. I feel like they are comfortable. I think getting the seating position and height correct plays a huge part in overall comfort.
