Regarding Tax for NRI, since TDS deducted by Custodian , do NRI still need to file tax return. There is no other income like salary or business income or rental income . Only investment where TDS is already deducted.

Hi Mr D'cruz, Returns would depend on how the PMS is being managed, also depends on the overall market performance. Could give you an alpha of 3% to 10% over its respective benchmark. (Keep in mind - annual Maintenance fees, demat custodian fees, etc )

She mentioned that NRIs can invest but if one already has PIS with like ICICI OR HDFC. And PMS custodian is Kotak or Axis then you can not invest as only one PIS is allowed by RBI. Here one needs to move from ICICI OR HDFC to Axis or Kotak. Information provided by her is not fully accurate.
