Definitely one of the best if not the best game of the NRL season so far, which has itself been incredibly exciting. Both teams should draw a lot from this, the Broncos look very strong this season.

@@code01372this game has got to be the best game in the season so far. Both teams looked so evenly matched. Was very entertaining because I actually expected Storm to run away with the win after Reynolds went off for the whole second half but the Broncos were so up in the Battle until the last seconds. Rugby League is a great fucken sports

@@apelismathews6646 Fair comment but going on this performance it wouldn't surprise me if they go on a tear. They are playing waaaay better than they have so far this season. If they sort out their fumbles they will be even more deadly. They will learn and get better like all the teams but they are definitely contenders.

I’m not a fan of either team, but WOW, what a game! Broncs were so opportunistic at times, but they also blew some GOLDEN opportunities. Regardless, amazing game of footy!

Scintillating game. I was outta my seat watching it. Didn't expect Brisbane to play so good without Reynolds. Could've been 2-3 tries ahead if they didn't fumble them. Then Melbourne with the comeback. Very entertaining.

*YEAH THEY* don't even look like they train for it. The Broncos players don't get in the right position. If anyone shows up it's the wrong players for an aerial. And if they happen to have a go, they don't have the right technique to actually lay hands on it and guide it backwards.

Broncos without Haas 3weeks now. Reynolds left at haftime. But they still almost won a full strength storm team. Penrith still the benchmark followed by broncos.

Broncos decisions to kick short line drop offs cost them the game. Many times broncos did storm kept winning the ball. Sailor should have run the last play instead of kicking it that didnt bring any good outcome. They would have some luck if they had run the ball instead of a sudden kick that no one was expecting.

I think Sailor stepped up well except for his kicking. Agree with you - definitely has a better chance running the last play

yes not a fan of it so i was glad when sailor took over he hammered it as far as he coul;d much better starting the defensiove set 30-35 out then 5 out from your ow line

Not even close. He’s a great finisher, and is good under the high ball. But he doesn’t do much else very well. His runs for just over 100m average when other wingers like DWZ are running for 150+m on average and making double the tackle breaks. And his defensive reads are marginal at best. He only just scrapes the top 10 best wingers in the league for me.

These guys all average more hitups, metres, & tackle breaks than Coates: - Isaako - DWZ - Mulitalo - To’o - Young - Lomax - Tupou Just to name a few… There are a few others playing out of position this season that I’d take over him as well. Garrick, Rapana, May, Cobbo.

Ezra is one of the best halves in the comp, and he has come from being a performer in a half time show. Absolutely brilliant player. But........ NATHAN CLEARY IS THE BEST

Would have liked to see it. Heard it on the radio, and the broncos got stalled and told to move back because they were off the mark, and then immediately after they mentioned the Storm player was way off the mark and they let it go. Of course that play was a try. Probably a good thing I didn't watch it because the officiating and the rules of the sport is abysmal these days.....

Broncos do show a lot of fire power in attack during the game but can't hold on as the game continues. They definitely get away with it against weaker opponents but not against better opponents like the Storm or Penrith. I'm guessing Brisbane have a coaching issue..just a guess

Broncos already down Walsh Haas and Piakura, lose Reynolds at halftime and still only lose by a few.Injury free they will be unstoppable.

Storm fan here: The Broncos are a great team great respect to them especially without Reynolds in the second half BUT these guys HAVE to learn how to win a game from leading. The loss last year to The Panthers was a prime example of this. Fix this and they will go close again. And watch out for Nathan Cleary's CHIN it will put an eye out!

Gotta wonder how big the win by Brisbane is if Reynolds plays 80minute, and Walsh and haas are there. That being said it’s exciting to think what Brisbanes attack looks like when Reynolds retires and mam is the 7 and Walsh and sailor are the 1 and 6.

I don’t think it would have been more than a 10 point win in that scenario. Rembrandt that when Brisbane smashed the storm 26-0 two of Melbourne best players got injured during the game.

I picked the Broncos and had Reynolds not got injusted they would have won, Mam should have stood up and ran the team considering he wants to be halfback when Reynolds retires, but he failed miserably.
