Yes, many ship handlers are saying it is very probable that bank effect contributed to the cause.

Sir it was an amazing presentation. However if it is a small ship overtaking a large one or a same size ship overtakes another one of allmost same dimensions how will interactions play it's role? Hope to learn more from you. Once again thank you very much

Shawn, It will be exactly what you think, a small ship will not have as much "Push" effect on the a large vessel. If they were of equal size I think you would see and experience some level of the interaction effect. Its all about distance between the ships, relative speed of the vessels, and size (displacement). ST

No, I do not. I like to explain and teach about it. I think most of not all of the significant research and books have already been written.

Bank effect looks like the cause of Ever Given breach of the Suez Canal.
