Hey brother, I've been looking all night myself as well - the actual pinout seems impossible to find now! Only partial datasheets. Found a Litronix 1416 video also with 20 pins, but it doesn't look quite right as I recall with Vcc and Gnd up top. I'd rather not kill one of these old bubble displays, would also appreciate if you could publish either a basic pinout, or just confirm that the Litronix/Siemens is pin for pin compatible with the National part. I suppose I should assume so .. every 7400 is regardless of manufacturer, but again - I'd rather not blow up a piece of history. I know how to "use" the display - just don't have a reliable pinout.
