KYLIE HAS BEAUTY AND BRAINS! Her intelligence is shown by the way she speaks. She exudes with Confidence, Charisma, and Character. So proud of my city-mate and schoolmate from Baguio City and St. Louis Girls High School. Hailing from SLU, she was trained to speak the English language like the rest of us. So proud of her advocacy on mental health and education. Love your food and ambience at Forest House.

What I love about her is her candor and honesty to almost all questions. Not pa-effect Lang. She even admitted na pinagaralan niya lahat, even when she revealed na her wearing a zone-piece swimsuit was a strategy or that she prepared her speech way before. So unpretentious.That goes to show how modest and transparency she is. Hindi niya sinasabing, "I was born this way, I woke up like this etc" Very mature level-headed.

Amee C Sending Kylie Verzosa to Miss Universe is one thing. Winning it all is another. In the end, Kylie Verzosa winning Miss International was a better deal. Why? Kylie kept the Philippines' Big Four title winning streak alive at four straight years and her Miss International 2016 crown set up Karen Ibasco's Miss Earth 2017 title which extended the Philippines' Big Four title winning streak to five straight years.

I beg to disagree because during this interview (and even in the previous ones) her ideas flows out straight away and she can be spontaneous talker. Drug addiction and depression is being connected by Kylie not straight away but not slowly because it is a tough, profound question that needs to thought of and analyzed. Pia is sort of taking notes specially grammar. But Pia is a lot talker than Kylie. I believe that the most witty, spontaneous, well-organized in expressing ideas, well-spoken and well-read among the Bb. Pilipinas candidates in 2016 is Nicole Cordoves. Peace.

Sounding good in English is way different from thinking good in English. Both grammar and linguistics are important aspects of English Proficiency, though. -Coach Enchong

She speaks slow, soft, almost precise for a "mahinhin" na Filipina, but fierce in tackling different issues that are seen as tough. You can't really judge a person's strength of spirit just by listening them how they speak but by analyzing each of the ideas that they bring to the table. And I love her final advice: Study hard and make yourself prepared in all aspects. Nothing that she's enjoying during her reign was given to her. She had to work hard for it. So to all ladies right there, don't focus on the appearance alone. Focus also your energy in acquiring knowledge and wisdom. Further refine your speaking abilities and read as many local, national and global issues that affect all of us in the present. Education is really important.

I see.. now I know kung bakit hindi siya ang representative natin sa Ms. Universe. She's so classy and very eloquent. Ang hinhin din niya. Sa Ms. Universe kasi pansin ko, dapat standout ka. As in physically dapat lively ka at very showy. May pagka mysterious kasi ang aura ni Kylie. Baka hindi siya mag standout sa Miss U. Unlike sa Ms. International, speech talaga ang pinaglalabanan. Ika nga e pang brainy talaga at malalalim na tao. Sa Miss U kasi you need to standout first bago ka makarating sa Q&A

Gach Zone I think Kylie has a fierce side. She has something that Pia has. She has that Pia-aura that makes me love Kylie so much. I think that she already is a standout.

tama kayo, she can answer the questions in Miss Universe if ever sya ang nanalo. but the question is, makaka abot ba sya until Top 6 or Top 3? may aura ba sya like pia and maxine? she always uses her "straight/poker" face pag rumarampa na sya. minsan lang nagssmile and hndi naman pwede yon kasi madaming mas maganda ang kabogera sa MissU, and dapat graceful ka sa MissU and hindi ko nakikita yun kay Kylie. please note din that ang UGALI during MissU pageant is very very important. i hope you've watched her other interviews and evaluate her ugali while speaking and answering questions given to her.. she is destined to be in the Miss Intl stage :) just accept the fact that Maxine's beauty and body does belong to MissU and not Kylie's.. hindi nga lang talaga magaling sumagot si Maxine.. and FYI, mas mahirap ang labanan sa Miss Universe kesa Miss Int'l. Bcos I guess memorized ang speech sa miss intl dba? yun lang ;)

Gift Dalauta tumpak ka girl. Dapat wala ng comment na dpat c ano nlang ton naging MU etc. kasi every situation is different. Where they are now is where they are destined to be. MU is really for Maxine as for Kylie, MI.

That was part of her strategy actually. Back then sa binibining Pilipinas 2016 madaming nagsasab na Kylie was too fierce. Nung nanalo siya as Miss Intl Philippines, since mas prefer ng miss intl. ang girls na mahinhin, elegant, etc. Kylie had to change strategy from fierce to elegant, which she has done a good job of btw. Pansin mo nung speech niya sa miss intl naka ilang "bow" siya? That's because Miss intl.was held in Japan and grabe maka bow yung mga Japanese so for sure part of her strategy yun. Love her

I admire Kylie more than Pia. Kylie has more class, elegance, sophistication and a lot of SMARTS than Pia. Speaks with substance and articulation She has poise even when "catwalking", not flashy, not trying to be sexy. I love her.

Bea Patricia 'Patch' Magtanong has a similar style with Kylie Verzosa heading into Miss International 2019: beauty, brains and a friendly personality. Her speech involving her advocacy on social justice, particularly on prisoner's rights, can tip the scales for the MI 2019 on November 12 in Tokyo.

Little do the picky pageant fans who made it a Kylie vs. Maxine debate know that Miss Universe and Miss International are two pageants that are part of the Big Four cycle with Miss Earth and Miss World the other two. Whether it's Kylie, Maxine, etc. winning Miss Universe Philippines, the odds are slim for a back-to-back MU titles for the PH. Kasi, only once a nation won back-to-back MU titles and that's Venezuela in 2008 and 2009. Also, no country not named the U.S. or a U.S. territory run by U.S. law like Puerto Rico has won MU on home soil. Finally, the judges who picked Kylie to represent the PH in Miss International and Maxine to represent the PH in Miss Universe is to extend both streaks: the PH's Big Four title streak to four straight years and the PH's Miss Universe placing streak to seven years. In the end, both Kylie and Maxine made sure that both streaks are still going on.
