They don't do it every time. I'm always amazed at how often they miss & it's all they do daily??

they are playing at a different level than us. if they play against any of us, they are winning most points off serve on you without missing

@dinkydoodle8325 u missed my point? I just watched the Laver Cup. Yes they are at a different level. We don't play tennis 4hrs a day and have 3 coaches and a physio. We would all be a higher level if we had that. During the Laver Cup at their level they made the same dumb errors that we make at their level. I'm always amazed that that's all they do and they still make the same dumb errors. You can't watch a match and miss that?

@wenobe I know. I just saw Tommy Paul double fault twice in the same game. I've been to the US open. I'm always amazed at how many mistakes pros make. Thus, they obviously don't do it every time. I'm just more keen than the average watcher!

Yes the majority of points ends with an error, obviously their level is WAY beyond anyone of us, even if you're a top 10 junior in youre state. Also, they miss at times knowing the opponent will hit a very high quality shot back if they don't do the same. At lower levels you know you can hit an O.K. shot or even bad one and know the other guy probaby won't hit a spectacular shot back assuming he's 5.0 NTRP or less. Some pros just go for more and on certain shots, like Shelton or Kyrios may go for a huge 2nd serve but miss relatively often compared to normal ATP 2nd serves.
