I listened and enjoyed the video and am not judging anything because I like hearing these guys talk basketball regardless especially if it’s still near 2 hours of content. Who knows what will happen but I’m on board and I’ll be listening every week instead of complaining like many others.

@@eeeesyywuwiz2836 actually, now that i'm thinking about it more... i do think this transition will make the show less personable than it was before. prior to the ESPN signing, this show was a small-time, personal show. Pierre kicking his feet up on the table, shoes off and everything. Mike showing up high cuz why the hell not, and giving us that personality that makes TTW what it is. there will be less of that. it will be nostalgic to think about those times. but i just can't bring myself to feel badly or negatively about the fact that they are making this jump. i just want the four of them to succeed. and they are on that track right now. they are going to get that fucking money up and P's gonna have his Rolex collection in no time. i'm happy for them and will continue to watch and support, regardless

agreed. lighting could be better, i think the table in the center is a bit distracting as well. and the camera angle could use an adjustment (go back to videos from the old set and notice how with this new one, they look so much farther away). i don't understand how an ESPN-powered show can have this many strange decisions, but it's all good man. i'm still loving the show. so mf happy for the boys

The only prep work is agreeing on which players the real teams are hanging onto. It could be a two episode thing where they save people in the first one then do the 4 team expansion draft in the next

A 4 team expansion draft is crazy. Especially with 10 protected players. Would have to at least be 2 teams with 2 co-GMs. Bill Simmons and Ryen Russillo already did this over the summer and you’d be surprised how fast the players became completely irrelevant and boring to talk about.

Their contract ended with house of highlights and they decided it was time for them to level up which is why they pattered with ESPN and Omaha. Unfortunately tho, HoH has the rights to their only name.
