OKC is littered with lottery picks! Jalen, Chet, and SGA are all ballers. Minn has Ant, 6th man of the year, all defense Mcdaniels, DPoY Gobert, and all star KAT! Clips have 3 4 future HoF players! How was the Mavs path easy?! 🤣

Not the biggest Tatum fan but I don’t see at all how jb is the better player I find it to be a goofy argument. Tatum is always the defenses focal point and also sees the teams best defender every night. Not to mention He’s easily a better playmaker than jb.

The C's are the best team that Mavs have faced... But lets not act like the Mavs are not the best team the C's have faced. The Mavs have the best player, coach, and bench this series. Luka and Kai are also better closers than Tatum and Brown. These are the two best teams in the league since March (ever since Kidd made the lineup changes) Plus, the Mavs Role players have a defined Job in both ends of the floor, everyone knows what they have to do. Whereas the C's play a bit more freelance 5 out "lets see who has it going today" type of basketball. Oh, them boys are going to have to blitz Luka 😂 I got the Mavs, but its going to be a tough and thouroughly entertaining series.

With the money players are gonna be making I wonder if more take pay cuts to help their team remain below the cap apron and add talent to compete. Making 60 vs 75 mill a season may be worth the pay cut if you could win a championship. A la Jalen Brunson rumors

the eastn was essy isnt a good argument against the cs in the reg szn bc they were 23-7 v the west which is a 62 win pace.
@whyroaderСағат бұрын
I dont think you get how much both sides coast during the reg szn, its really no metric
@taylor7264Сағат бұрын
@@whyroader Yee that’s a a factor too. so either way not a great point. If any team had a reason to be complacent it’s the team w the best record in the league
@whyroaderСағат бұрын
@@taylor7264 but complacency is bad, and giving 82 pace off of 30 is rough
@taylor726445 минут бұрын
@@whyroader first of all like you said theres no metric for complacency. so im not saying they were. im saying the complacency is a factor in the east and the west equally. thats no excuse for the west losing 23/30 games to the celtics this yr. 2ndly they still played every west team twice. its not like they only played bad teams from the west. and 62 wins would've been the 1 seed out west too. like bruh what??? a small sample doesn't dictate that a team should be better or worse than a west team that played the same grouping of teams just more often. if anything you figure variance plays a bigger role but its hard to know which way positive or negative. 30 games is a solid sample size tho. either way there's no evidence to suggest that boston is not better than all the teams in the west. saying they played in the east proves no point
@taylor726444 минут бұрын
@@whyroader 62 win pace is GREAT any sample size. and 30 games is big enough that you assume its more than luck

P is on 100% on point about Kyrie defensively 💯 Its so funny seeing people just now realizing hes a good defender the thing with him is because hes so gifted and relied on offensively he doesnt lock it in on defense often. But hes been a really good defender almost his whole career when he tries
@ImAviexСағат бұрын
Big asterisk on when he tries, I fucks with Kyrie heavy but before this season I could count the number of times I've seen him this locked in on defense on one hand. Hell he's been trying so hard on defense he literally didn't have energy for offense and would have uncharacteristically low scoring games, he's on a different level this year.
@WhereIsYourIDСағат бұрын
@@ImAviex Ive seen it a lot more times than that but ok 😂 Maybe THIS good defensively, but hes always been a solid defender when hes locked in
