I made a trophy with this archetype by basically casting breach and bring oracle back the shufling breach. A bunch of draw spells and removal.

Genuinely learning to hate this format. I am consistently baffled by how I keep running into people with absolutely infinite removal. Literally faced someone on the play that cast Deadly Derision on 3 straight turns after having already cast Final Flourish, and then cast a 4th Deadly Derision a couple turns later (beating me down with a 2 drop the entire time, and then also managing to spit out some other bullshit off the treasure tokens). Fucking what? What drafts are these people sitting in, because I don't ever see bullshit like that, let alone draw that well.

If you are getting wrecked by 1 for 1 removal, you aren't getting enough card value into your decks This format is VERY big on card value. (Rank 8 mythic atm, and finished top 250 last month, so not talking out my ass btw) Edit: additionally -- make sure you're keeping your curve from going too high. Double spell turns are very big this format (why Dispersal is soooooo good)

@@GOODTARGETBARTZ yea, totally rigged. That's why the same people are always able to get to mythic ranking and have winrates above 60 percent format after format Rigged Totally not draft or related to any mtg skill/ability whatsoever

@@kujabuja That is only true to an extent. Many cards and decks require a "snowball" to extract value from the cards. For example, a red-white Backup deck needs to be able to stick creatures to build up to a critical mass and go over the top. If they remove critical pieces, then the strategy runs out of steam, especially if you keep drawing lands. Also, even if you are getting decent value from stuff like Preening Champions, you can be left with only 1/1s if they are removing everything else. I'm in high level platinum, so it isn't like I'm fucking trash, but you can't always get a draw that is able to sustain momentum in the face of 5 or more removal spells. Eventually you hit lands and if you happened to miss your removal then they just kinda of eek out a win. I've had plenty of good matches as well, but the number of times I have faced just unassailable bullshit is pretty frustrating.
