You’re grandpa was so special and obviously loved you all so much! He is always going to be with you! I encourage you to plant a tree for him. I planted one for my mom in 2020 and I talk to that tree every day!

Aww the clip of gramma and grandpa is the sweetest Nicole! I know what a special treasure he is. I lost my treasured Nana 3 years ago and every year since I have put a huge effort into my garden in honour of her. I take care to have a whimsical garden for everyone.

Reach out to Laura from Garden Answer to collaborate on design ideas. Maybe pull in a couple other you flower tubers for a big collaboration. She recently did a collaboration to put a beautiful pond in her area. It would be fun to see a gang of flower girls at flower hill farm contributing to the memorial garden. Just a idea. I miss grandpa everyday and he was truly was my adopted grandpa. He was genuine and I know when he said he loved all the kind followers, he truly meant it. You should reach out to northlawn flower farm in PA . She does beautiful lawn landscape with flower cutting. She also did a memorial butterfly flower area for her grandmother.

Incredible! I love that you are creating a space for all to enjoy and a memorial for not only Grampa, but for anyone and everyone ❤. I visualize paths, sitting areas, and garden "rooms" in this beautiful space. I hope you get a lot of garden designers willing to help out (and lots of sponsors 😉). PS: Learning the ropes of zone 3 gardening, Astible, Nepeta, Helleborus, & Pulmonaria survived the ADK winter and looking great this year, you must add these to your garden (the deer don't seem to like them). Best of luck and will be following the progress.

What a wonderful thing you're doing in memory of your Grandpa😘 BUT when I watched Grandpa in one of the earlier videos you filmed of him reacting to the comments everyone sent to him saying he how much everyone loved him, he was so grateful and saide that he could be everyone's Grandpa! That meant so much to me, and he instantly became my Grandpa too! ❤ That being said, when watching this video saying it would be in memory of Gabriel, my husband asked who was Gabriel? I replied "It's Grandpa" and he replied "oh, I only knew him as Grandpa." I also think its wonderful how you are including everyone enabling them to memorialize a loved one as well. I'm also hoping you might consider including the name "GRANDPA" to the dedication to his memorial? (if you haven't already) Thank you for all you do. I enjoy watching and and your beautiful family. I'm also so happy that you're having your Aunt move into the house, how perfect ❤ Keep up the great work.

I wonder if you have any agricultural schools around the area that might have a landscape design program that could use your garden as a project? I wonder if whoever secured the motor by wedging it in realized what a great pun they created. It’s brand is WEG🤣. On a serious note I think what you’re doing to honor your grandfather is amazing and so heartwarming. There isn’t a time when you share memories of him that I’m not the crazy person tearing up for someone they’ll never meet. The love your family has for one another is so rare in my experience and it’s such a beautiful thing to get to witness. Thank you for the update and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Can’t wait to see it come together (and visit it soon, as I’m about 1.5 to 2 hrs drive from the east of your location!). To anyone planning to recreate this : level the ground with SOIL from the site _before_ you truck in tons of gravel. If’you feel you need gravel, you only need inches of it not multiple feet.
