Perfect video for me as I'm trying to get in the ICU after I'm done with my accelerated ADN program! I will be done in a year. I've asked a lot of teachers about new grads in ICU and they all recommended medsurg first lol I didn't like their answers because it was discouraging :( but you made me feel a little better about it, I will see how I feel by the end of nursing school. :) I also completely agree with what you said about taking accelerated nursing program! We get that experience quicker and that pay check! Looking forward to your other parts!! Also I'm 24 in south florida

Went into nursing as a second career just before COVID hit. It's been tough but rewarding, and I've truly found a passion in the anesthetic side of the job! Preparing to get my CCRN and start applying to CRNA programs in 2022. This video is very helpful and inspiring and just makes me more motivated to get to the next step in my career!

I got accepted into accelerated bsn program as well as an msn program in nursing which one is best on my goal to becoming a CRNA? I’m kind of conflicted right now being 25. It took me forever to get done with college having paying for it as well as having leukemia in 2019 to 2020.

I am 20 and I’m in my Junior year of college. I was unsure about what I wanted to pursue as a career until I met a CRNA. I immediately fell in love with the job. I am majoring in health sciences so I will have to graduate and apply for an accelerated BSN program, start working as a nurse for a year or two and then apply for schools to become a CRNA but I’m sure the extra time in school will be worth it ♥️

I just graduated nursing school aged 27 and found my first job in Pennsylvania as a surgical trauma ICU nurse. I start in a month and I am a ball of nerves but I am also so very excited to kick start my nursing career journey and my journey towards becoming a CRNA. Thank you for your lovely videos! Hi Sarah. Im 34 I came from a NICU and been a stay at home mom for 4 years now. I miss it so much. Im in Illinois and currently debating on completely different spectrums. Wondering do I continue my education and work in a hospital or become a school nurse which will put me on the same schedule as my kiddos.

Hi Sarah! I’m 23 and currently finishing up pre-reqs for Nursing school in California. I’ve been working super hard and have maintained straight A’s so far and although the programs in my area are super impacted, I’m on track to be a strong and competitive applicant. But I’m still having trouble deciding if I should go for an ADN program then bridge to BSN or if I should shoot for a BSN right away. What would you say would get me into the ICU faster? I always get mixed advise and I’m just not sure where I should focus my energy on. You mentioned going with a faster route and that would be the ADN but I don’t know if hospitals will hire me as a new grad with an ADN in the ICU? Appreciate any guidance!
