It made me smile when Emma was talking to sister, Sophie, at bedtime, giving her the same loving encouragement that her parents gave her when she was faced with dealing with her anxieties😊

The more I listen to Bridget talk about how she just wishes Erin didn't have DS, the more I think its about her..and her image.. Not that she worries for her daughter and her future.. But she mentioned when she starts school and how it will be.. She is very very much about image!

The little girl with downs, are just the sweetest and most adorable little girl. I hope for mom, that she some day, will she her for what she is and allow her to be the best to the things she can and likes. Nobody, downs or not, has to be a engineer or a doctor as long as the love what they do. She WILL find her place in the world and I only wish, that mom will love it as much, as she will. Wish them the very best ♥️

I don’t think it’s a good idea to cajole kids into saying I’m sorry just with the promise of getting stickers or another reward. Their I’m sorry has no meaning in that case. Instead, explain to them why it wasn’t a good idea to have clubs in the house, that we don’t hurt anyone’s feelings, etc. They have to learn how to do the right thing without the promise of a reward.

Downs children are so beautiful and smart..if she would not look at it like she's doomed and instead let her learn and grow she will do amazing..My friends daughter lives on her own and does very well

Bridget's breastfeeding story made me cry, something I dont do easily. I hope she has forgiven her dad and herself after all these years. Erin's disability wasn't a punishment for giving up her first baby. Erin will be 20 already.

That's so very sad that her dad made her put up her baby girl up for adoption. 😪 My dad made me have an abortion when I was three months pregnant. That was April 21 1972. The baby's daddy was my fiancee. We both had no relationship with anyone else. Only each other. We got married there months later. My dad had so much pride. He promised that he wouldn't tell anyone but he did. My wonderful husband and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary on June 24th 2022.💞 True love is a precious gift from God in Heaven🙏

Brigette please forgive yourself. Your dad made you give your first daughter up for adoption. Erin is a precious little gift from God. Teach her and let her learn because she can❣👍😍

As sad as it is that Bridget was forced to give up a baby girl at 19 (and I know her pain needs to be dealt with) I still can't feel sympathy for her. The way she thinks of Erin as a child who won't achieve like her brother and how when Erin is older her (Erin's) life is 'going to 'suck' is sickening.
