I was a 13 year old NYC teen when someone handed me the Global Meditation cd with Nusrat Fateh on it. I think I played Allah hoo 1,000 times. I fell in love with his voice. Now at 43 I still search for his voice and simply wonder in amazement at how it transcends culture and time with absolute and captivating beauty.

I listen to EDM and rock so much but when I listen to your music no other form or genre of music sounds good.May Allah Almighty give you highest rank in Jannah. Conheci o nome do Nusrat Fateh no livro "1001 discos para ouvir antes de morrer," isso em 2008. Comprei o CD e vi como é encantadora os lamentos em forma de louvor musical para Deus para nós simples mortais. Paquistão e Índia... terra mãe, terra irmã.

Christian here. This song hits hard tho. I love the beat. It’ seems like praise song, although Islamic. The singer is bold and vivacious. I love how he can hit high pitches and vocalize the beat. I am African American, and in our worship musical tradition praise songs tend to be lively at times.

Yes, this is a qawwali about the ultimate creator and God to all the prophets he revealed himself to, to Adam all the way through to Muhammad (Peace be upon them all). 'Allah' just means God in Arabic and 'Hoo' just means 'is'. No matter what religion we can just appreciate God.

@MiliRahman-yj9qk Respectfully, we all worship different deities. My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is not Allah, Shiva, Buddha, a guru, etc. I respect different cultures and their belief systems. The music is beautiful nonetheless. Learning about different cultures via media in its various forms is my personal mental passport since I have not ventured outside the USA as of yet. ❤️💓😊

Musicians/Engineers: Is he using 2 SM58’s? All jokes aside...what is the advantage of using 2 mics like this? One dry signal and one with reverb?? Or does using 2 mics increase the field of the polar pattern? Your thoughts on this please.
