@@sandokhan1965 can rafi sing for straight 8 hrs in same energy??? No one in the world can ever match his sargam, Actually nusrat sang everything, but rafi can never be able to sing qawali. He was singer of max few mins while nusrat could sing all night with such great melodies. Full career of rafi is not even close to his 1 qawali even. Lata,rafi,kishore all have copied his songs, from new generation jubin nutiyal, and other so called bollywood singers just remake his songs to get attention. Whole bollywood singers are never even close to him alone. He is named 4th all time best singer,his name is in world guineas book record, japan named him singing buddha. His concerts were always houseful and was most admired singer in usa. He sang in bollywood, hollywood, china and japanese movies. Who is rafi???

Ahahaha! I have no idea what Rammstein is singing about in German, but I like that band for its energising industrial metal. Goes well with my morning coffee to really wake up. I have no idea what Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is singing about too in his mother tongue, but I have a hunch the lyrics he is singing is definitely more spiritual then the possible angst in Rammstein's lyrics.

I had tragic breakup up 8-9 years ago and begun listening lots of sad songs but since last year i have been listening to nusrat fateh ali khan sahab and his soulful voice has healed me so much . i cant express in words how greatful i am to his magical voice which helped recover from depression and pain . god bless his soul

I'm iranian, my language is persian, i can understand half of it .when i saw your comment saying that you got a "dance remix" of this song, it was some kind of shock to me😂😂cause it's a spiritual song we dont usually dance to this. But i can't see why not to😅 BTW he says "mast e' mast" , not "mast de mast" . Mast e' mast is a phrase which is borrowed from persian, it means "so drunk" and the phrase"mast e ghalandar" means "a drunk sofee(which is a spiritual way of living in persia and Pakistan) I just wanted to say this for your knowledge and everybody else Love and respect from downtown Tehran✌

I so love this! - Nusrat had such a moving voice, magical, and the musicians he played with were all wonderful. They are all so 'together', like one musical being.

I heard his drummer was the best drummer and quit playing after Sir NFAK’s death. I have heard this, i can be wrong also.

I was privileged to see and hear him at WOMAD in Cornwall (UK) around 1988/89. Magical. So sad for anyone who didn't have the experience of being totally drawn into his voice and the music. Glad we have such recordings of him now he has sadly passed away. 🙏

I just can't stop listening.... I hv listened nearly all the versions of it. But I never got hooked this much. Even not with any other musics in my life. This music has something else... Soul easing, Divinity, Powerful, Pain killing.... From Bangladesh 💝

They are singing praises for a sufi saint shabaz qalandar from sindh paksitan He was descendant of ali and fatima (daughter of prophet Muhammad)

they are singing about Sufi saints, these saint's dedicated their entire lives to Allah. Lal Shahbaz Qalandar was a Sufi saint from Sindh. He was Islamic preacher that taught about religious tolerance and that is why he is very highly respected by both Muslims and Hindus. he is the most revered Sufi Saint of India and Pakistan.
