I really appreciated you talking about the macronutrients as this is something that is relatable and applicable to every athlete serious about performance and nutrition. Many different aspects of these macronutrients can be overlooked and this can hinder training and sport performance.

This is a great explanation of sports nutrition. I like especially how you explained not to assume that athletes or others know the basics of nutrition or hydration but instead to work with them to formulate a plan that supports their health that they can participate in and continue themselves!

Nutrition is often a very underutilized tool to achieve the gains in whatever someone is looking for. knowing the breakdown of the main three: protein, carbs and fat will go a long way to understanding how macronutrients fir into their respective program, great lecture video!

I am always interested when I learn about ketosis and this idea of a low carb high fat diet that overtime trains the body to use fat as our main fuel source instead of carbs. Its interesting seeing which high level athletes are keto and seeing how they can still perform the same even though there bodies are functioning totally differently
