I don't care what ANYONE says... Eddie Murphy deserved every award possible for this scene alone... the fact he made each of the characters into a real person with their own personality and mannerisms. No other actor could've or can do this

Brooks and Pryor have done this too but Eddie was outstanding in this movie and obviously he learned from the great Richard Pryor. montana anthony Kevin Hart is my favorite comedian right now. Richard's dead, Eddie's not touring or acting anymore (besides, his last couple of movies were shit warmed over). Robin's dead. Comedy's loke music, the new stuff may be good but the classics will never die. Now Kevin Hart is funny as hell. He's brought me to tears. I bought that dvd The Conjuring just because of his skit about it. To say K. is not funnier than the emperors of comedy (that's funnier than the kings of comedy) is right, but he's on they're ass inching foward.

Meh I've seen far worse stereotypes. Watch machete the low rider scene is great. And Tyler Perry's depiction of Madea is so cringey that it actually escalates to hilarity. It saddens me that people in the modern age are so overly sensitive that they forget that cultural stereotypes were originally meant to make people laugh at cultural absurdities as well as laugh at the concept of cultural assumptions. In short yes they were meant to be somewhat offensive but in a comedic sense not an oppressive sense.

This is just flat-out, absolutely hysterical. I feel like I need to watch this a couple of times a year just to keep my comedic chi properly grounded or something. One of the absolute funniest scenes I've ever seen in a movie -- and a staggering showcase of Eddie Murphy's talents.

Very funny scene - and it must have taken a helluva long time to complete it. Eddie Murphy plays everyone except the little fat kid. He really deserves credit for a job well done. Also, the amount of time he spent in the make-up room would likely make most people go insane.
