I love how easy Honda Accords are to work on. I'm about to save myself about $800 by replacing the headlight assemblies and bumper cover myself, instead of taking it to a shop, and I doubt it'll take me more than an hour start to finish. Thanks for the video. Super informative and well done. Videos like this are why I am able to do most of the maintenance and repairs on my own car.

Thanks for this vid. I've got a 2001 with only 110K miles (bought it with just 90K) and the passenger side is not just cloudy, there is condensation in the assembly so no amount of "restoring" will help. So I'll be doing this job in the not too distant future. I wish manufacturers would make replacing parts that will definitely wear out before the end of the useful life of the car an easier job. I mean having to remove the bumper and "grill" seems excessive. Once those are off, it looks pretty straight forward.

Ok, as a "don't speak car language" woman, before I search for "honda accord headlight replacement", I was dreaming about taking the old one off and line up the new one, then tap, tap, tap it in. After watching the video, I don't think I can do it myself. But it's a good video and thanks for sharing anyway. :)

July 28,2019 I just bought the spider headlight for my 2000 Accord sedan so I watched this video. Surely it did help me a lot to figure how to do my new headlight replacement. What could we do more when we have both old car and having misaligned screw holes from whatever bender that needs a lot of tweaking here and there. Thanks for the video. +++++

Just doing this myself and there is a metal bracket that affixes to the bottom center of the front cowl having two bolts, so in total there are four bolts securely holding the front cowl grill. One each side in the fender wells and the other two center bottom of the cowl. The rest are simply plastic plugs and not really designed for holding up under speed and stress but more to simply button up, tighten and form fit the entire cowl to align with the two body front side panels and plastic shields underneath in front. And there IS both horizontal -and- vertical alignment adjustments. They look like gear teeth in a way. Your one alignment may not be functioning because where the tuning bolt meets the interior adjuster probably has an issue or problem, but there ARE two adjustments for each headlamp. I'm installing new ones not because they are foggy, because I've always maintained mine and they are as clear as when I purchased the vehicle new back in 99, but I found some for a 99 Accord four door four banger that now have the white strip daytime running lights so it is half an orange reflector strip at the edges and bottom of the headlamp assemblies and then the same with the running light strip that is now an L shape running light that replaces the other half of the orange plastic part at the bottom of each headlamp and boy do they every look sharp too. Looks like a 2022 vehicle now. lol Going to be reinstalling the cowl this morning and wrapping the project up but I'll tell you that at age 71, it will have taken me two afternoons to accomplish something that 40 or so years ago would have taken me just 45 minutes though. LOL

As usual, a good video. My sister-in-law has a 2002 Accord whose cloudy headlights are a lot worse than yours was. I'll be replacing them soon. Although I've haven't done this particular job on an Accord yet, I'm fairly familiar with the procedure but your video is helpful to review it. I'm a DIYer but I work on enough Hondas so I keep a supply of those plastic push pins. A few are always missing or broken.

They show how easy it is. I did a 2001 Honda Accord lx. Everything is rusted. Can't get bolts loose on plastic grommets. So go to the Honda dealer and order all the hardware.

Can I use a 2002 Honda accord headlight assembly to replace a 2000 headlight assembly?

Man I appreciate my silverado so much more now. I just have to pop the hood and remove a pin above the headlight to change the bulb or the assembly. I had to look at this video for my gf's honda i'm like geez this is gonna take me over an hour lol.

Those replacement headlights have a way more narrower beam than the original ones. I certainly wouldn't like that if it was on my vehicle... drive safely.
