I've had a NuWave for many years as well. I received the Pro Plus this last Christmas. I now use both NuWaves almost everyday. I'm not a very good cook when it comes to the stovetop and oven, but the NuWave has truly made a difference. Your videos have been so very helpful. Thank you for taking the time to make them!

I love love my Nuwave oven, everything you said is true. I had my Nuwave for five years or more. I have another one with a carrying case I take on trips. But my Nuwave is not heating properly. So I order the Nuwave primo. I did see your review on it. I hope it will give me good service. I will be cooking in it everyday. God bless you and be safe.

I'm still kicking it with my nuwave oven pro, all of the new toaster ovens are cute, but the Pro oven is the bomb. As the old saying goes, if it ain't brook don't fix it. Love watching you test the new ovens.

I love my NuWave Pro and Pro Plus oven. If you hook the holder under the base, it will support the dome and power head. Very convenient. I had to learn how it all fit about a year into having it. Now I don’t know what I’d do without it. Thanks for all of your reviews and recipes.

I have that Nuwave oven for 7 years now the only thing i changed was the clear to yellow dome. Im not a good cook and this sucker help me a lot. I love love my nuwave oven i dont know what to do without it 😍😍😍

Friend has one of these she is sending off so I came to find out more about it. I am 898% carnivore. Thinking it might be good for all the meat I cook and to save electricity. Bonus!! I also have a wave oven, mine is about 5 years too, but most of my buttons on the top no longer work. I can only use the 1, 7, 8, reheat and the time button is going as well. I have to tap it several times for it to work. I use my nuwave oven instead of my stove, because it is easier on my electric bill. I do love my nuwave, but I will have to replace the top part or get a new unit.

I totally recommend the Nuwave oven. NW oven is especially great for collage students and military personnel that live in the dorms. It will be amazing on those days the cafeteria or dinning facility is closed or you just want to make your own meals. My NW is used for everything except rice and micro-wave popcorn and I never have to clean my real oven. :-)

I found that if you use the wire rack to secure the dome it, it will crack the dome.... I went through two or three of the clear domes, but the yellow one lasts a long time.... I no longer use the wire rack at all.... It puts torque on the dome and especially if the dome is hot, as it cools the dome will crack....

I was thinking about upgrading to a yellow dome, I've never had any issues with my dome cracking, but I've never used the wire rack either so I'm not really sure if I need to upgrade.

I've made beef jerky a number of times in my Pro Plus without the fancy dehydrator they are selling and was happy with my jerky. The Pro Plus temp goes low enough that you could dehydrate most anything. Just put a piece of foil folded under one side to vent the moisture and you are good to go.

Yea same here. I thought about the dehydrator, but found it was made for a different model. And you see the stuff I dehydrated came out OK. Does the dehydrator offer anything special? Question for anyone who has it. I mean, do you feel it offered something you were really feeling you need?

I'm stbscribed to your channel because you give helpful reviews. I have one question on the nuwave:does the 350 degrees max temp hurt the cooking peformance on some foods? Like steak? Some foods taste better when they are seared. Any tips for searing on rhe nuwave?

Thanks Brother. I am very disappointed in the quality of the new Nuwave products. I bought this one too. I had good luck with it and wanted to buy the primo and found it to be inferior as you pointed out in your videos. Now I’m looking for an oven that heats to 400 deg f and can handle a medium size round pizza.

I have this nu wave that we use daily. I’m debating if there’s an additional item I should add to our kitchen. We have a instant pot pressure cooker already. But is there another MUST have item? Waste in the NuWave Oven? On the contrary, it will be much better for you and your family. Also use less energy, and cook in a more reliable manner, far less likely to over cook. great review. The"superwave& the big boss use halogen heaters. Which is basicly a light bulb. My daughter's easy bake toy oven uses a light bulb to heat too. The nuwwave is a winner but it doesnt get hot as the super wwave(480deg) to put a good sear on a steak. Have you ever tried popcorn in the nuwwave? Please make a video to test. 90%of my microwwave use is for popcorn.

No point in testing popcorn in the NuWave Oven Pro. Its maximum temperature is only 350° F. Popcorn requires a minimum of 450° F. So maybe someone with a NuWave Oven Elite can try.

Is it normal for the heating coil to pulsate on and off during cooking? Or is it suppose to stay red the entire cook time? Mine seems to be doing that. Not sure if it’s trying to adjust temp to stay 350 or what.

I've been using the NuWave for about 8 years (I've replaced parts and also got the BPA-free dome). It is HANDS DOWN our fav appliance and we use it DAILY. To put it in context, we have all KitchenAid appliances. We have a Capresso burr grinder/drip coffee maker. We spent a lot of money on great appliances but the NuWave gets the most use and is our fav appliance. I reheat everything from hot cereal to leftovers, I bake apples and sweet potatoes in it, I roast proteins - even frozen stuff, veggies/fruit, I toast bread and cook half-cooked frozen store-bought bread, etc. You can even take a slice of pizza on a paper plate (they tell you not to use paper but I do) and the cheese will melt beautifully. I don't use the dome holder either, funny.

I have a nuwave oven original but not using - I've bought several air fryers and I can't stand the smell in them. I pulled out my nuwave again, but am wondering is it better than air fryer - the same - or not as good. Does anyone know how it compares to an air fryer ? That plastic smell from the air fryer makes me sick to my stomach, but I love the features.

@@WaveOvenRecipes Thank you - I've purchased the PowerXL, a Gourmia, and another expensive one and did the burn off = 20 minutes over several days. Even cooked high fatty foods (as others suggested) and that plastic smell was still there. I asked the previous question because I was getting ready to purchase an air fryer that was all metal (no plastic) and before I spent that kind of money ($200) I wanted to know if I should just get my nuwave up and going again. I haven't used in probably 5 years and I didn't know if it's similar to an air fryer. Just trying to save some money and hassle. :)

My racks went bad. the finish looks like it has came off they are a copper color . they look like someone sanned them down. Scary. Be awesome if they could come up with better racks .

Never had that issue, mine were stainless steel. Maybe they changed.

@@WaveOvenRecipes I got mine 3 or 4 years ago. they were supposed to be stainless steel no way they are .Wish I could get different racks .Inspect your racks really well. one of my more used racks literally looks like i had sand it. and it was a copper color . They had the nerve to want to charge me for sending me new ones after just a few weeks of use. I got the instant air fryer yesterday ,much easier to clean. btw I enjoy your channel .

It is a Classic 56 Chevy type. I Love Mine. Yes, my old one cracked as well. OYAMA. sells a GLASS dome Air Fryer Also a SS rice cooker Pot. I like that because of chemicals leaching into the food. I don't know if that plastic leaches because I have seen no studies. Anyway. The Nuwave is amazing as well for dehydrating and many more things. Like anything practice makes perfect. I Love Mine
