I was talking about it with some guitarist friends just a few days ago: you are among the very few who tests units with clean sounds or edge of break-up, so that we can really understand how the hell a unit sounds. Elsewhere, you almost always only find distorted sounds and drop D!

Great Demo! I think comparing this to the Nux MG 400 would be the best comparison video to do. I look forward to more videos with this unit from you! I think this is the best multi FX pedal Nux has released. Most of them sound muddy to me, then the ones that don't, sound way too hot and harsh to my sensitive ears, then this one, just sounds.. like it could pass for a studio recording from the 80's, 90's, 2000's and even early 2010's, all without sounding overly hot or harsh, just high quality and a bit like you plugged into a studio mixing board? Which the equivalent today would just be a Universal Audio interface. Of course, its not at UA level of quality, BUT plug this unit into one? And then you're playing with fire.. very very usable fire. At this point what I would do, is plug it into a Universal Audio Apollo 8xp, then a little mixing and a few simple and quick plugins to make the guitar recording come alive some more, finish it off with a solid tape or saturation plugin, and I can see it passing today just fine on a current day funk, jazz, rock or metal album. Plus 48khz, and 32 bit? Pretty darn good and crazy for the price! For once, with the MG 101, guitarists on a budget finally have a fighting chance to make solid stuff and earn a living without having to spend endless hours mixing out the harshness, hotness, and or mud from the cheaper units recordings, or having to pay someone to do it for them. The one thing I wish you could do, is switch around the pedal positions.. the ONE crutch of this unit.. of course you can just add your own pedals before going into the unit, so atleast there is a slight work around, a clutter, but a work around, but hopefully a firmware update will add this feature in like you said, but being a lower end unit.. that update sounds too good to be true.. but IF? It would be THEE MOST solid, professional, and useable, low budget unit available today. So excited to see what else Nux will release in the future!

I already have a mg30, a mg300 and a mighty plug pro and I would buy this mg101 just to have an option (just in case) it is totally gigable, I can use it for small gigs when there's not so much space on stage, I have a rock cover band and these modelers are just perfect to perform live, I also use them for record my KZfaq channel videos at home, they just sound great! Great demo song as always. On sale, say under $100US would make this a great "first amp/modeler" for a beginner. The Tone X One, morphed into a slightly larger format similar to the size of this multi effects pedal, for around $200US would be a world killer in my opinion. God bless and rock on 👍😎🎸

Like Hotone with ampero mini,I don't see the interest of declining the same product with such a deflation in the specs and the capabilities... Next time,nux 102 with 2 instead of 4 buttons? Nux MG400 is less than 200 euros.... and much more capable... Why nux is spending money in development of new products with no interest? Spending this money in marketing or in development of a new lines of products with interesting features would be a better option. Even the look reminds me the toys from the 80s.... I’m sure it sounds great and there’s no question these budget brands produce amazing devices for the money. But they don’t help themselves making them look like a 5 year olds toy, why don’t they design them to look a little bit more ‘grown up’? They might sell a lot more units if they did

2nd comment: the new Nux sounds mind-blowing when you think about its price BUT, as it comes with its size, it's rather unusable for live gigging. What a pity 😕

what is new ? what is the difference with nux mg 300, i see no wha wha no whammy, i m wrong? a new reverb, more overdrives,, what else? i m missing something else, i don t see the point of this product
