Okay so Gerber's mistake last episode was... yeah, but here, Luke not only consented to risk it all, but by all rights Skeledirge should not have lived a Tera Lumina Crash.

Luke did actually consent if you watch the VOD. But yeah, it’s extremely unlucky. At most, gerber should’ve been using Dragon claw then a switch out to Luke. Idk how to use damage calculators but Gerber has a 104 physical attack, to an 84 special attack, even if D.Pulse has an extra 5 BP, it was using his weaker attack stat. Additional edit: Luke having a -Sp.Atk nature also sucks
