Didn't Collin's death technically give salty a fail in the Nuzlocke. Because he lost a battle and blacked out. Sure he beat the E4 but he's playing with Nuzlocke rules enabled.

Collin's death was the most dark, Tracey, Pastey, and the others died with a team, people around them, yet Collin died without anybody seeing, and was alone. And the only person there was Derek, yet he hated him, and kept on beating the dead horse. Sometimes I wonder if Derek is the villain or not. Collin's death made me shed one tear.

No joke, the Friendlocke has been one of the best projects I've ever been a part of. Getting to spend every sunday with my friends, the chat, all of you, was a highlight in my week. It warmed my heart to see all the love and support have given to this series. The amount of fanart, animations, everything, blew us all away. And to speak for myself, the love for Auntie was overwhelming. I am humbled to be part of something so big, and can't wait to see you all again in season 2 Derek, you made an amazing series, thank you for letting me be a part of it. Here to a bright rest of 2021, with more shenanigans along the way And thank you all for an amazing season 1! Auntie loves all of you!

This just proved that Gerber was the true anime protagonist all along: he was a powerhouse, got killed, and returned from the dead in an even more powerful body and kicked the Champion's ass. This was an amazing journey, I'm so looking forward to when the next one happens!

Ngl, when Mikey said "Everyone was cheering for me to kill myself. I thought I was! But then... Gerber...", I thought that he was concluding his arc with him no longer wanting to blow himself up/score more teamkills due to the friendships he had formed with his companions/Gerber. Well a few things are lost when adapting an anime from the manga. And yes this was adapted from the manga because the ending of the light novel was dark, tragic and if I’m honest a little disappointing, so I’m happy it went with the manga ending which is much more uplifting.

U can see salty’a character development through every death.When the mudkip died he had hope but sad.but when pastey he started losing faith.Then to Gerber.He lost all emotion.To the point when jay died he didn’t care.And is the reason why Collin died.He felt no sympathy for Collin.Just seeing him as a pathetic creature but yet happy for where he is.Or maybe he’s just a mad man.

I *saw* the Salty tweets complaining about how he had to mess with the audio of something in the Friendlocke for copyright reasons and I didn’t even realize it was the closing sequence until halfway through because the sound effects were so in-character for him + this series in general

i think the worst thing about pokemon is that.. it ends, and theres nothing left for you too do, sure you can train your pokemon too level 100, or capture every pokemon, but thats nowhere near the same as traveling the region too get the badges, or fighting the elite 4, and creating a team you love and cherish. And all the friends you meet along the way just.. stop in the end, nothing extra. But i guess that's what life is, appreciating the time you have left too experience it all. Thank you Salty, this idea was brilliant and i loved every minute of it.

I’m gonna miss this series, it was an amazing journey to watch through. We’ve had our laughs, our cries, our screams, and our A E U G Hs. hopefully future friendlockes are just as amazing, keep on keeping on as always. P.S is it bad that I cried during the credits here

SALTYYYY THIS SERIES WAS SO MUCH FUN!! I loved this so much, I was actively looking forward to every single episode because it just made me laugh non-stop, and not even gonna lie, I got a little teary by the end. I'm glad Mikey finally got to explode, he'll be looking down upon us all..... I'd be 100% down to see more series like this in the future, it was such an enjoyable series!!
