Just bought a 3060ti after sold my 1070, I was fine with 1070 but I managed to build a pc from my unused parts and the 1070 helped me a lot to find a buyer. With that money I purchased the 3060ti.

@@ROTNSHIVGAMING Depends on Your expectations. 3060ti is enough for 1080p ultra preset and ray tracing OFF.

@@ROTNSHIVGAMING Just depends on your local pricing, needs, and preferences. At US pricing, it'd be: RX 6700 XT 12GB $350+, RTX 3060 Ti $400+, Arc A770 $350+. Arc is currently 10-13% weaker at gaming (1080p benchmarks) per Techpowerup so probably not the gamer's choice for now. GTX is pretty old at this point so I don't see a point in buying one given that there are competitive new options in the $200-300 range.

@@ROTNSHIVGAMING I bought the RTX 3060 Ti FE a while back and tried it at 1080p ultrawide and 1440p (2 diff monitors). 1080p ultrawide it runs everything great, at 1440p it runs smoothly at med no RT. I also tried more budget options like the RX 5700 XT (used) and RX 6600 XT, and they're also great for the price. At current US pricing, I'd probably just take the RX 6700 XT since the 12GB of VRAM is nice for longevity, and it's cheaper. There are a couple games, especially at ultra (or HD texture packs) where VRAM becomes the limiting factor and run into stutters when you occasionally run out of GPU VRAM and end up needing to use the much slower system RAM. VRAM is generally fine for the 3060 Ti level, but I really don't like the 8GB of VRAM on the 3070/Ti level.

@@AzzyPT its really not tough, GPU wise its a money saver CUDA > openCL anyday. AMD has made some nice CPU's especially for the price. but for graphics cards they are pretty bad and only real use is for gaming.

@@raydoee I use my PC for everything myself. Gaming for the most part but it's also great to render videos and such. Still you have a point. Without a proper graphics card you can't expect a whole lot from AMD. It's not horrible by any means but it's far from excellence

I built my computer several years ago with a GTX-1080ti and have considered upgrading the video card a number of times but backed off when I looked at the improvement VS cost ratio. My current system plays all the games I have well, including the VR games.

Prices for some good cards have actually dropped a ton in the past couple years. You can get an rtx 2080 ti for like 400-500 dollars now when it used to be 800

Its why i wait 2 gens to upgrade. I usually stick with 70 series (i run laptops) but i came from an i7-7700hq/GTX1070(not max q) from 2017 to an I7-12650h/RTX3060 (105watt) and i cant believe what has changed! TBH i really wasnt too impressed with the 20 series and my 1070 still held up fine. it was just my old 4 core 8 thread cpu that killed me lol. GREAT VID!!!!

My all time dream card used to be gtx 1080ti, but when i finally saved up to it, it wasn't "brand new" anymore... So i jumped in rtx train instead. Made jump from gtx 680 to rtx 2060, and year later to rtx 2080s. So far i stayed with it.

Well, I am currently using GTX 1650 and I must say, it's a pleasure to watch it at work, looks like heaven. It may not look good enough to proper gamers who have handled better but I come from a 9 year old Dell with 4 GB Ram, 2 GB integrated rubbish Graphics and 1.7 GHz processor where even NFS Most Wanted 2012 struggled at the lowest graphics. So to me, 1650 looks heavenly. ☺️

Little wrong there. Raytracing actually has a huge impact on the graphics and cards like the 3080 or 6800xt still get 80 Fps with ultra settings and 4k in many games. And of course most of future games will feature RT

Now in october 2023, a decent graphics card costs much less than in 2022. U can now get a 4090 for 1599 (when on sale) and a 3060 for 300.

For a GTX user, the graphics really don't matter (that's my own opinion) At least it is playable, I have alot of games installed on my PC like battlefield 5 Tomb raider, call of duty mw2 and such, Which really rocks for a MSI laptop!

@@hwyvinee680 because gtx 16 is still fine, can run vr and the price is ok it is just rtx are hard to find and when you find it the price is expansive 😒 so in normal time you probably right, but in 2022 rtx, ps5 and xbox x are hard to find and are expansive 😌

After playing the 2000s game in 20 to 30 fps in 720p all graphics are set to the lowest. Got a 3070ti with i7 12-gen laptop yesterday. Still excited but haven't installed any game yet.
