Nvidia gave us dlss and some developers think its ok to ship a game that's no optimized because of dlss. Now Nvidia will give us this overlay and developers won't even explain the basic stuff in the game because they know ai will explain it... Cant wait...

Yes sure, Nvidia is to blame for developers releasing unoptimized games, not consumers preordering half baked early access shit from AAA devs, and then making excuses for why the game is not "that bad".

This felt like such an unaware streamer take. This functionality is very similar to a streamer asking chat questions about parts of a game they don't understand. Very few people currently have access to that experience. Most people have to use google to find the answer or a third party website loaded with ads which all break gameplay more than asking the question with voice. Edited spelling mistake.

Integrating it into a game Pipboy style would be innovative for sure, but yes I agree about it ruining the single player experience. I do enjoy the theorycrafting and tech troubleshooting stuff. That makes it super interesting.

I've watched this video for 13 seconds and all I know is it's really rare to be able to see white around an entire iris, and virtually everyone I've encountered or seen in videos where this happens is a complete psycho. I'll unpause now.

Its been happening for years already, everything is available to us at all times and we need it now. As peoples attention span decreases because of it, so does our intelligence. It is what it is, everyone engages with it at their own terms, its inevitable. Give it a few more years and people will walk around and yap with the AI constantly.

Competetive online gaming is ruined with this. Imagine League of legends and an AI telling you to be careful because the jungler might gank you because the AI spotted it on the minimap running top. Or any shooter, the AI just making tactical descisions for you or spots enemies in Battle royale games etc. Everyone literally needs this AI at some point because you in a massive disadvantage not using it. it's cringe af

@@WheenE how do you ban this tho? its a tool that just reads your screen. it doesn't interact with the game in any way other than what humans already do with their eyes.

You can literally already do this is league of legends with a tiny bit of coding. Enemies on the minimap have a red outline, that red color is ALWAYS the same, so you can literally just code a program to red the red pixels in the area that is your minimap and give you an alert. This is just the evolution of it, there is nothing exceptionally new in regards of it being able to give you a tactical advantage. Also I really doubt they'd let you use it to spot enemies lol, if you listened to the video, they say its "enhanced by the game developers model database" so the devs have control over what the AI knows about, so for the BR example, just don't let the AI know what a player looks like, or give it an explicit prompt to never give up that information. People are seriously trying their hardest to find an issue wherever possible before thinking for 2 seconds about how simple it is to avoid it, or if an alternative already exists.

@@justespelund dude, no one needs to rely on developers to do this. Literally everyone with a license can soon do stuff like this themself. They can do what ever they want. No one is restricted. no one can hold them back. We already have AI tools standalone that analyze your screen. As technology evolves those tools will be an incredible advantage over not using them. The scenarios i had in my comment above are very valid and there is no way for games like League to detect them. If you think no one will abuse this tech you literally stupid.
