is this scope narrow enough on the right to mount on a remington bolt action and have the bolt miss the scope when cycling the bolt? The Trijicon MKIII 60mm is too wide to allow the remington bolt to function and wondering if this scope is better? Thank you - enjoyed the info, data, and videos.

Great video and info as always. I am curious, at night, what does it look like while you are using this set-up from a 3rd person perspective? How much does the optic viewfinder cast light on you as the shooter?

Thank you for the review. In your experience, is this the best thermal scope for the money? Do you like it more than the Trijicon Hunter MKIII? Thanks.
@LoneStarBoars2 жыл бұрын
Yes this is the best scope on the market. Trijicon has fallen behind. These use the exact same internals as the Trijicons with a better lens and operating system.

Excuse my ignorance, but appears the range finder is constant stream? Don’t have to put cross hairs on a target and press a button?
@LoneStarBoars3 жыл бұрын
I have it on constant mode, you can choose to have it activate by button press.

When using the rangefinder, does it shift the POI after the range is taken or do you know of a setup that does besides ATN"s ABL?

No those things don’t work until you get well above $10k

I currently have the ATN THOR4. I learned in another of your videos these are now Chinese. I wish I had known that. I was just curious if the Halo XRF scope's range finder feeds to the scope and automatically adjusts the POI of the cross hairs like the ATN.
@LoneStarBoars Жыл бұрын
No it does not calculate impact for you. Many claim to not many work especially ATN.

There are no 18650 batteries higher than 3500 mAh. The Keeppower cells are protected 3500 mAh cells with a max continuous discharge current of 10A. You don’t want to use lower mAh batteries because they tend to have higher output amperage and the Halo scopes don’t need more than 10A.
@jeffmaines15072 жыл бұрын
sure there is higher than 3500.... waaay higher.

Great job drawing those pigs to you. This is not to be critical in anyway I’m just wondering why shooting the coyotes? Don’t they kill piglets every now and then and other pests?
@killersp19743 жыл бұрын
They eat other livestock too... IE Sheep, Goats, Chickens and Calves.
@derekbrown69743 жыл бұрын
Those pigs will kill and eat that coyote before they let that happen.
@duanehenicke66023 жыл бұрын
They do eat a few pigs. It's hard to tell a hog hunter not to shoot the coyotes. I let them kill coyotes. I just make sure they know hogs come first.
@renaudtheis11973 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your response guys. I don’t know why I’m always a little uneasy about those coyotes. Maybe because they look like dogs.

Guess the coyotes and hogs don't know about running in a serpentine pattern. Lol

Here hunting is not to wound animals, its to get a clean good shot that they dont suffer.
