It’s a song from Starmania…it is a French-Canadian cyberpunk rock opera written in 1976 with the music score by Michel Berger and the lyrics by Luc Plamondon. In the opera the lead character is Johnny Rocket and he is singing S.O.S. when Crystal, the love of his life has been killed while fighting extraterrestrials who are trying to take over the earth. It is a song of self-doubt about his life and whether he wants to go on living. At this point he wants to be taken up into the heavens. Starmania has been translated into many languages and has been performed in English by Tom Jones and many other famous singers. When you listen to Olimpico, it is important to watch the one with Dimash and Igor Krutoy. It shows Dimash with lights like stars encircling him. Igor is the composer. The song was written for Dimash's voice and range. It was written for the second European Olimpic Games. It is in italian.

So there are a lot of songs that have been written for Dimash, with his voice in mind, by singer/producer Igor Krutoy like Stranger, Olympico, Love is Like a Dream, Love of Tired Swans, Passione, Know, I Miss You, Your Love, just to name a few. I just found your reaction right now. I told you. I told you. I was one of the ones who told you Dimash is "Out of This World." I'm so happy watching you be amazed at his range. I love this song and the lyrics. If you so choose please watch him from time to time. Obviously, he has other great songs and performances that are mind-boggling. His last 2 songs he dropped surprised us all. They are MV's that are more contemporary. "When Got You and "Smoke". With that voice, he has no boundaries. He can sing anything. I watched a mini documentary about him. His parents are dynafmic singers, too, and raised him up in that melodic environment. It's fun to see him growing up and singing on stage. He is considered the greatest vocalist in the world and has a vocal range of well over 7 octaves. He has also trained in playing in several instruments. He does have perfect pitch. He is now Dr. Qudaibergen (PhD). Very high IQ, composer, has been quite the athlete but his schedule is quite busy so not sure where he is in that field at the moment. Like many in Kazakhstan, he is Eurasian. Tall at 6'3", kind, you will often see him walking around with someone's baby in his arms. He developed this habit from being that way with his two younger siblings. He came from musical parents who were well known entertainers in Kazakhstan.

Dimash is superhuman. Amazing voice. He has some contemporary stuff out there too if you want to go looking for it. He never disappoints.

Welcome to Dimashland. He has a song he is doing a Quintet by himselves. Dimash is a class of his own. His huge advantage is that he is still his own boss when it comes to music. Nobody tells him what kind of music would be right to make. And that gives him great artistic freedom. His voice, which he continues to work on, gives him so many possibilities. Go on a big Dimash trip and it will be worth it. He always has new surprises in store. By the way, he is also a great person, a real role model to follow. The song was part of an online concert he gave when Covid had the world in its grip and he missed his fans, the Dears, as he calls them. I loved him for that.

Dimash once covered Vitas' Opera 2 on a Chinese singing competition and blew all the other competitors out of the water by exaggerating what Vitas had done even further. Great comments and reaction!!! And welcome to the wonderful world of Dimash, the greatest singer of all time! You mentioned “all the notes on the piano” but actually he goes beyond them. Check his performance of Unforgettable Day (which by the way he composed at age 17) at the 2017 Gakku music festival to hear his D8! As you pointed out, Dimash uses his range and mastery of genres as a painter would use colors on his palette, applying them wherever he feels they should be, often within the same song, or the same stanza, or the same phrase.

Vitas can't hold a candle yo Dimash, Dimash did a cover a a talent show of Opera 2 and he blew Vitas away so bad Vitas sent his attorney to tell Dimash never sing one of his songs again, thats pretty telling.

DIMASH does not have a genre, HE IS HIS OWN GENRE. I am sure the DEARS( Dimash’s Fandom will acquaint you with this ICONIC MAN! Dimash is a global treasure!
