Why is the video so low quality?

So before the official BTS Black Swan MV was released, BigHit released a special orchestral art performance MV, with autotuned vocals and choreo performed by MN Dance Studio. This music is from that MV. Go check it out - most baby ARMYs don't even know it exists. SUGA was MIA during this performances, hence the gaps left where he would normally be. They could have adjusted the choreo for 6 members, but they chose not to - they didn't want him to be forgotten. It's an act of respect, and not unusual in K-pop. Although it's probably normal now for many 4th and 5th gen groups, BTS would run on treadmills whilst singing, to increase lung capacity and stamina - idols are trained from day one to sing whilst dancing, though many groups would still lip sync during performances, something which BTS was accused of all the time, but they never have - they're the first to admit that they suck at lip syncing! But yes, they will use backing tracks. Again, this is not the full performance.

@NathanWalters they cut to other performance in Suga's parts because i belive he had/was recovering after his surgery at the time, so instead showing his parts just played as audio they cut to other performace when he was there

Yoongi was out due to his shoulder surgery so he wasn't able to perform. If you noticed at the beginning there was a space between Jin and Tae. The original video from the MMA does not have Yoongi in it, but this edited version put him in at spots where he was featured. Also at the end just before they showed all 7 embracing they had left a spot for Yoongi. While he was out recovering the boys carried a photo of Yoongi with them to every concert or interview or red carpet . They always left his spot open and did not change the choreo either. If you look again at the video you will see only 6 dancing.

Not sure if anybody has cleared this up for you yet, but Yoon-gi/suga had to take time off at the end of 2020 to get a much-needed shoulder surgery and so he wasn’t around for the taping of this performance. They stitched this video with another performance that he was in, which is why it seemed that this is a combination of a few other performances of this song. If you watch it again, you will see that there’s only six of them in the whole group parts.

Me too, when I watch a BTS performance, my eyes are always on Jimin, they can't focus on anyone else. Also when I listen to their songs I like Jimin's voice more, his voice is unique and angelic. Since they have now debuted as a solo artist, I focus more on Jimin since I started listening to BTS because of him.
