That OJ run and Ingram catch and run were just magical. Stuff of legends.

9:00 ... The Ingram catch on 3rd & 13. The unsung hero play. Akin to the Steve Smith 3rd & 11 in Super Bowl 42.

Best drive ever in a Super Bowl. Best played Super Bowl. Two legitimate teams, few penalties, zero turnovers. Last minute drama. Best National Anthem sung. Add to what was going on at the world. Couldn't ask for more.

That team had a superb O-Line, one of the best i've ever seen. A lesson in possession football.

The great Mark Bavaro playing on one leg stood tall in his last game as a Giant. He retired after this game and later played for Cleveland and Philly!

Meggett could have easily been the MVP of this game. I don't think the Giants win this game without him.

The fake punt by Gary Reasons and the Roger Craig fumble forced by LT in the NFC championship game in SF put the Giants in this superbowl.

THE greatest game plan in any Super Bowl. It was simple: Don't let Buffalo and their high powered offense touch the ball.

@pac401
@pac401 2 жыл бұрын
@@bigdrew565 Actually it was 135 yards. The plan was not to give up any big plays to Jim Kelly and his great receivers. Worked like a charm. In some cases, especially late in the game the Giants were rushing only two guys, hence some big gains in the last few minutes of the game

Had the Buffalo Bills learned anything from this game, and decided to start playing a more deliberate and focused offensive game starting that next season, they might have been able to get a Super Bowl anytime within the next few seasons.

I love how folks say we got lucky. How? Maybe our flukey razzle dazzle offensive game plan of run left, run right, run up the middle fooled them. Bills had plenty of chances to win before Norwood took the field.
@byrongammonbyrongammon9937
@byrongammonbyrongammon9937 9 ай бұрын
Giants didn’t get lucky. The Bills failed to get smart. The Giants open up with a 2-5 defensive front and the Bills still insist on passing. Their arrogance prevented them from deviating from their preferred method of playing. Belichick pulled the same psychological ploy on Mike Martz when the Patriots beat the Rams in the Super Bowl after the 2001 season.

I have a question, At 10:54, when Bennett, 87, of the Bills tackles Meggett, 30, of the Giants, it is clearly a horse collar. Why wasn't this called a foul?
@johnsmith3091
@johnsmith3091 8 жыл бұрын
+swyzzlestyx Because there was no rule against horse collar tackles back in 1990. It wasn't until 2005 that the league decided to make horse collaring illegal.
