New York Giants news and rumors are buzzing around Evan Neal as he is working back from his offseason ankle surgery. Neal did not participate in team drills at OTAs and strictly worked on the side at Giants minicamp. Multiple Giants beat reporters have brought up that Neal may have suffered a setback and that is why Brian Daboll said that the Giants are going to “back off” of Neal and his rehab. Daboll did say that Neal could be ready to go for training camp which kicks off in about 6 weeks. Daboll and Mike Kafka also spoke about the confidence that they have in Neal as their starting right tackle. I think Evan is going to need a year off to get healthy.. I think that means he'll be gone from the Giants next season, but I do think if he can get healthy he may turn into a good tackle for another team ... we have really bad luck with drafting lineman idk why but....
