I would trade down with Colts to 15 and include their 2nd rd pick at 46. Jets can still walk away with an OT and pick up a Safety or even a RB in 2nd rd.

We need an elite weapon get the OT in round 3. They are going to sit anyway. We have 2 years 🤡’s to win. Than this team will be rebuilding.

Yeah I would do that but select a WR in the 2nd Round OR trade back again in the 2nd Round to pick up a 3rd or 4th round pick IF there remained several quality wide receivers available and try to land a 2nd WR with the 3rd round pick. Imagine coming away with Fautanu or Latham (OL Rd 1) and some 2 of 3 combo of Brenden Rice/Ja'lynn Polk/Ricky Pearsall (WR Rds 2 & 3). That would be straight up theft 😂 (assuming they are not busts).

I could totally see a team jumping us to 9 and getting Rome or Bowers. Maybe the Cards if they trade out of 4 and still want a WR. Maybe the Colts if they want Brock. Only way I see the Bears making that pick is if Alt drops. We are going to be in for an interesting night tomorrow with all those potentially moving pieces.

Yes, I believe that as well. He’s blowin’ smoke! JD is not taking Bowers! If anyone believes we are, ur going to be disappointed. But after he turns out to be the Kyle Pitts of last year, you’ll understand why we didn’t pick him… No way!

@@vincentcerrito6150 Is Kyle Pitts really the best example? Falcons barely threw the ball last season and had probably the 2nd worse QB play in the league other than us. Watch what that offense does this year if Cousins is healthy. I'd like to see what Kelce does with Ridder throwing him the ball.

Only Jet fans in a draft top heavy in OL and deep in WR would want to draft a hybrid TE/WR at 10. No way JD takes Bowers. He will take Odunze, OL or trade back. Use your head.

@stonksrus I could see OL of we trade down. I'd be very surprised to see OL at 10 though. We only have a 2 year window, go all in while you can.

Ryan, I believe the decision at 10 depends on 72, assuming there is no trade down. Which does JD covet more at 72, a 3rd round OT or WR.

I think if Rome is still on the board at 10 the jets are sprinting the card up to the podium for him he’s the perfect Ying to the Yang of Wilson and Mike Williams (I’m happy we signed him) had proven he will at least miss some time during the season. Saleh and JD have also really hit home this offseason that they like the oline depth after seeing them play last year. I think they are gonna focus on a weapon early and oline later

Team trade down. Need Oline first, then receiver 2nd. If stars aligned, trade down with Cowboys. Get Branden Cooks (10 mil/year 2 year contract) plus their 2nd. Then hope to hit on an oline pick at the Cowboys 1st round spot.

Please go be a giants fan you have no idea what your talking about. You think they went out and got 3 offensive linemen. So they can draft a guy in round 1 to sit? Listen I will say this one more time. They need an elite offensive weapon. Either get one of the top 3 WR or Bowers. Not going to waste a pick on a benchwarmer when your trying to win a Super Bowl. Do me a favor identify with intelligence 😂

I forget who said this, but I saw a video this morning in which the guy had KC trading up above the jets to draft Bowers. He projects a 2024 1st, and 2nd, plus 2025 1st to the Titans for their 2024 pick at 7. His counterpart did not see the Titans passing on Alt, and suggested instead the Falcons could make a similar deal with KC for their pick at 8.

Rome > Bowers. But I don’t like the 600 yards argument. # of yards doesn’t measure success in bowers case. His impact can be high with just 600 yards since he’s a personnel nightmare. I still want Rome tho

Yeah, the Jets O-Line is settled, at least unto Tyron Smith gets injured again. Or at the latest, next year sice Smith is on a one year deal, and will be really expensive next year. If there a two trades ahead of the Jets, for JJ McCarthy at 5 and Bowers at 9, the Jets could have Odenze fall to them, and that is the only skill player they should even consider. There will be a good tackle left at 15 or Brian Thomas, so that’s a good opportunity to trade back.

I will be at the first round of the draft and i have to say, if rome is there at 10, or we are able to trade up and somehow get nabers or harrison jr, and we don't take them, i will lose my mind. We are in this for maybe only one year. You get another weapon. You put williams and rome, as an example, on the outside, return garrett to where he belongs, the slot, and you have possibly the best wr group in the league. Bowers just is not worth that high of a pick. We can make ruckert and conklin work just fine

I would not be surprised if JD sticks with Bowers at 10! You guys should totally go with getting Bowers!! He’s a definite upgrade at the offense! Now I heard this recently watching the Jake Asman show that the Jets want to trade up and get Marvin Harrison Jr!! If he goes past the Cardinals after someone trading up for a QB, how would u personally feel about that move

I want us to trade down and get a second rounder and draft Brian Thomas Jr in the first round. Williams knee isn’t one hundred percent and we need more weapons other then Garret Wilson.
