Asante name was given to them by Denkyira not war. Asante was the painters of denkyira palace. Painters in Akan is Asa/Esa hence the name Asante foɔ

Hehehe. The history that humbly asante is always hidden. The Akyem Kotoku history that humbly Asante must be told. The only state The union of Asante could not defeated for 99 times and osie tutu was killed in the 99th war must be Told. Some of the verbal history of Asante is not factual.
